Hate: Choosing to goto the college I'm at now. I am really disliking it.

Like: This bright and sunny day; I wake up late so after having no daylight at all for most of the winter this is such a nice change.
Hate: Having no constant free time for the first time in months; I have exams these two weeks and its rather annoying, I'm used to doing whatever I feel like whenever it seems like a good idea, and now I have places and times I actually háve to be.

Kazuya Wrote:A question i've always wanted to ask, Tim, if your job blows so much with pay, why not find another job somewhere else? I know its none of my business and feel free to not answer that question, but it's just always been something I've wanted to ask and not sure if I have.

The pay isn't always terrible. Its seasonal. Its just that the bad season is stretching further and further as this city gets more developed. Basically we are growing a lot as a city, getting all sorts of new stuff and rebuilt road systems, and due to that, lots of new people are coming into the city. People that are now putting out rap albums about "growing up in the hood of Augusta". Which pisses me off because, I'm sorry, but you don't try your damnedest (however that word is spelled) to convert your city into a ghetto JUST so you can have street cred for your rap album.

That and the rednecks keep breeding at exponential rates.

Pretty much anyone in South Augusta is hated by me at this point. Its a cesspool for dumb, ignorant, selfish people. That area is covered within Richmond County, which I'm on the border of, and the people with money tend to go to Columbia County, which is nice and there isn't THAT big of a difference in my particular area, but I live near the mall and stuff.

I keep the job because I had been trying to get a different one and couldn't, so now I'm trying to go back to school full time in the fall. So I need to keep my hours flexible, and that's one good thing about this job is that the hours are really flexible and the pay is still ok for said flexibility. Its just that you do get nights like Saturday that I described (and I heard that Sunday was absolutely terrible as well).

Josh Wrote:I'd normally agree with that sentiment, however; it turns out that in the states you guys actually have states where people can be paid below minimum wage if they work in a service industry where tips are allowed.

Yeah, it's called being paid against tips. Oregon, as your quote showed, isn't one of the states that does that, so I don't need that shit from people when I go to a restaurant. Not made of money over here. Jerks.

Oregon, represent to the fullest! xD

I seriously hope you're joking.

Liking Glen Beck says so much about how stupid you are, it's like a symbol of every idea in your head.

I'm...I...you...she...

You're going to disregard a person for what they believe? I'm sorry, but that's...

*sigh*

So what you're saying is that because I'm republican every girl who believes differently should automatically write me off. Wow. I should remember that. I should become democrat and watch CNN so I could finally get into a relationship.

Thanks Jack!

This was mostly a joke, obviously when I see her I'm going to talk to her. But Glen Beck is seriously a dumb fuck... liking Glen Beck means your views are congruent with Glen Beck. At least for me, this is a turn off.

It could be a Republican, Bill O'Reilly I would have been cool with, but GLEN BECK LMAO WTF. He's literally like the biggest moron on television.

My argument still stands valid here. You've just proven my point.

Well I'm sure there are girls that think that way, yeah. Girls write me off just because I'm black. Bitches be crazy

65% of people write me off because I'm too outgoing.

The Like/Hate Thread - Jack - 05-17-2010

I've never heard of "too outgoing". Sounds like the nice way of saying you talk too much or show too much interest. I have problems with both actually

Yes. I tend to talk too much. And it's both guys and girls.

Chubbs FTW

Glenn Beck is such a moron that even Fox News left him off their poster.

Even Lewis Black called him out on it on the Daily Show.

Fox News is, in my honest opinion, is comprised of the most insidious and vile parts of American Society. It's like they are Iago and Americans are Othello, having Iago pretending to be their most trusted ally while pouring venemous words into the ears of trusting Americans.
