Also, I logged into that rickroll dota map on SC2 the other day. It was glorious.

Hate that my Xbox has broke for the third time. Well more specifically this one has broke for the second time, I have another one that broke about a year ago and never got it fixed. I guess if it had to happen, better now with the World Cup and Big Brother set to drain all of my time over the next few weeks. Still pretty frustrating though, now I have to spend ages trying to figure out how the fuck to get it fixed.

Also hate dance troupes. Since Britains Got Talent started they're popularity has sky-rocketed. I mean, I admire the skill and dedication it must have took to perform such intricate and impressive routines. But there's only so much dancing you can watch before it gets dull.

Wow so apparently it's out of warranty. I've checked online to see how much it costs to get repaired, figures range from $110-$150. So that's about £65-£85, right? Can't you buy a console for £100 nowadays? This is so fucked up.

The Like/Hate Thread - Pinky - 06-08-2010

back when i played with my 360 a lot, if anything other than the three red lights happened i'd force it to overheat which causes the three red lights, which is covered by a renewable three year warranty.

The Like/Hate Thread - Saz - 06-08-2010

Yeah I've got the RROD, with the bottom right quadrant blank. But apparently I've had this 360 more than 3 years. I think the other one is still within warranty, but it didn't have the RROD. Maybe I should overheat it and just get that one repaired...

Ahhh now I remember why I didn't get the other 360 repaired. The fucking shipping label that you need to print off. I swear, the first time I got it fixed I had the shipping label sent to me in the post. I guess that's only when you call the support, not when you do it online.

Okay so the other one is out of warranty too and it's going to cost £70 to get either one repaired. This is just ridiculous, how is Microsoft allowed to get away with this. And I've got a fucking years worth of pre-paid Xbox live on there too so the longer I wait the more I'm losing out. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Hate: Forgot to file my resident city taxes...

Stupid fucks. I thought I didn't need to considering my job wasn't in Westerville. Show's how much I know.

They made me stay there the entire day before excusing me. I have mixed feelings. I'd have loved to participate in being part of the system there, but they only comped me 25$ for the entire day, stating that 25$ was the maximum pay per day for 8 hours of being there, with you having to stay out of work that day without excuse.

as much as i like the idea of blaming MS, you have two broken boxes that you didn't fix inside of a three year warranty. :|

sell one, fix the other.

I'd already been called up for that twice by the time I reached 21. (Legal age for jury duty in Australia is 18)

Like: Got a call from the council offering me an interview for a good IT job I applied for. Apparently it's half an hour long with a half hour prac afterwards. Kinda nervous since I've never had to do a prac for an interview before.

Correction: I had one that I didn't get fixed inside the three year warranty, but it didn't have the RROD so the warranty wouldn't have covered getting it repaired anyway. The other one broke (for the second time) outside of the warranty.
