Custom Technique Approval - Shun - 04-07-2010 I don't have the technique made specifically yet but I was curious if it was even worth a shot. If I were to create a tech that molded energy in the same fashion as a Green Lantern, like make a hand to punch/slap/slam people with, would that be acceptable? I have a move that has something similar for a specific region that cant be seen Custom Technique Approval - Piper Juunanagou - 04-07-2010 Empathic Link - While she can scratch the surface of a person's memories through mediumship and get a grasp of their emotions with some mental focus, Piper can also establish a more intimate mental connection. Through prolonged physical contact, Piper and the other party can exchange thoughts, emotions, knowledge, and memories. This is usually a one-way street, although Piper can willingly share her own mind with the person (and strong-willed telepaths might establish their own connection without her exact consent). In the event that someone doesn't wish to link with Piper, she would have to physically subdue them, and even still, powerful telepaths may be able to block her out of their mind. This process can be far more emotionally and mentally overwhelming than mediumship or empathy are individually. Empathic Link - 18 Custom Technique Approval - Majicka - 04-08-2010 Ultra Super Saiyan Karin, through training in her Super Saiyan state, believes that she has reached the next level of transcendence. By powering up to unheard of levels she can reach a more powerful state of being. Her muscles expand to huge proportions and her hair becomes even spikier, as well as their being a pronounced amount of lightning flicker around her body. Her strength increases in this form, however her speed suffers just as much. The strength of this form can shift depending on how much she powers up, although it always amounts to a equal loss of speed. Tier 1 + Body Size Control (+Possibly Ki Specialization/Martial Arts Specialization if that adds anything to it, or is needed.) So I was wondering if by making a tech with body size control if I could, instead of having Tier 2, I could do this instead. It wouldn't increase my CA, but it'd allow me to post being slower but more powerful at the same time. It'd do what I wanted. I think it's covered by Body Size Control, but I wanted to make sure. When needed he charges it with energy from his Psychokinesis ability. This allows him to shave off near perfect strands of metal. They fly out of his bag and spin around his body. He then targets his enemy and launches them with deadly accuracy. The goal is to pierce the skin and explode after puncturing the flesh. They can also be used to hit pressure points to cripple parts of a opponents body instead of exploding. Custom Technique Approval - Majicka - 04-08-2010 Aura (Name is up in the air, lawlz) Karin powers up to her maximum potential and her body is surrounded in blazing energy. While this aura is active she can manipulate her energy attacks to a much more heightened degree, as well as other perks it offers. Because the energy around her is under her control and is simply exposed she can maneuver it to her will; whether this be to lash out at a nearby opponent or to stop a weak energy attack by acting as a shield. While this aura both increases her offensive and defensive powers exponentially, it is her very peak of strength, and as such, cannot be held up for long. (Think Perfect Cell vs The weaker Z warriors who tried to attack him while he was fighting Gohan.) Ki Control + Ki Specialization. Custom Technique Approval - Kaden - 04-08-2010 Aura: 25 Custom Technique Approval - Vad - 04-08-2010 Steel Phalanx - An instant and dynamic technique used to boost the impact of a punch. Whenever Vad wants he can coat his fist in a thin layer of steel and strike his opponent with a heavier force. Depending on what he hits, if it's blocked, or if it hits a shield the metal can and will shatter if it isn't strong enough to withstand the blow. This can be done before hand or in the split second before a strike takes place. Custom Technique Approval - Victoria - 04-09-2010 Chidori (A Thousand Birds) – Victoria utilizes her electric control and channels a large amount of electricity into her hand. The electricity becomes visible, sparking erratically from its main source in her hand. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target. This produces heavy amounts of damage to the target. Chidori Current (A Thousand Birds Current) - This custom makes practical use of the Chidori by extending its attack range. By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from Victoria’s entire body. This allows her to attack people within a specific range. Also, when using this attack, it effectively doubles as an instant defense. By weaving her Venomous Ki with the Current, the body of the person touched by the Current will misinterpret the effect as electrical signals from the nerves, making their muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. She can only maintain this attack for a couple minutes, and once the Current disperses those affected by the attack will slowly regain their movement. Body Disturbance – Victoria’s hand ignites with static energy, and as she engages in hand-to-hand combat she will attempt to initiate this custom move. If she strikes a certain part of the target, such as their right arm, she can flip the opponent's nervous system signals to any other part of the body. For example, if someone tried to move their right arm, a different part of their body would move in the way they wanted their right arm to move. However, the victim can partially overcome the move if they manage to relearn the connection between their thoughts and their limbs. The acorn sits on its point and spins like a top to deflect attacks. It spins in place and can spin on the move, however it is very difficult to control on the move. There's a chance you could ram someone but not on purpose.... maybe a building if you get it set on the right general direction. While you're inside it, it makes a pretty good shield and, if you set it on the move, it runs such an erratic course that its difficult to hit cleanly. Targets can be encased but its pretty easy to break out of as the spin doesn't offset damage from inside. Non-flyers will get very dizzy inside it. These plant formed energies don't obey any law of their shape. A flower or leaf or tree will shoot through the air and hit you as hard and as fast as any energy beam would. Wild Diffusion - A close range energy blast that infuses wild energies into ki till they become uncontrollable. It specifically targets manifestations of ki that a user is trying to maintain and control and sets the ki free from the user. The best examples of this are shields and auras but it includes any energy based technique that last for a prolonged time. The more energy in a technique the slower it escapes the user's control and in some cases several diffusions are required. Elemental manifestations of energy take twice as much wild power to diffuse. Squirrel Unlimited - Being made of energy Nibbles can transform into an untouchable phantasm. With expert ki control he can dematerialize and materialize portions of his body at rapid speed, giving him an advantage in melees. Using this ability repeatedly at the pace necessary for combat is exhausting. The Ultimate Bitchslap of Inescapable Armageddon - Nibbles transforms his hand into pure energy, charges it up and swings it inside the face of his opponent where he then discharges that energy. This attack is ridiculously powerful, and while strong opponent's inner energy can withstand the force, no one escapes without a busted up face. On beaten enemies and minor NPCs, the sheer power of UBIA disintegrates the targets head, and in many cases the rest of them as well. This is primarily a Fatality..er Finishing Move. Because of the closer than close range required, small target area, control required, and timing its very difficult to hit someone not incapacitated or restrained in some way. Its impossible to hit anyone faster than you. This technique consumes 2 PP. Wooden Plank - Nibbles forms a solid block of ki in mid air, about the size of a book. It can be broken/shattered but is unmoveable unless Nibbles moves it. Then it makes for great bashing over the head stuff. With about 10 seconds of charging Nibbles can grow the plank to the size of a barn. Leaf Spiral - Nibbles unleashes a spray of energy that quickly takes on the shape of leaves and swirls around the area in a blizzard. The sharp edges on these "leaves" does cut but for most warriors, these paper cuts are just a nuisance and a distraction. The swirling blizzard of energy matches the color of Nibble's immaterialized form and makes great camouflage. Deep Forest Explosion - This technique takes about 20 seconds to charge up. Nibbles forms the energy into a massive acorn that he plunges into the ground. What follows is a small earthquake and alot of property damage as a massive forest constructed of pure wild energy emerges from the ground. Even minor NPCs would probably shake that part of the technique off. The dangerous part is that the trees are all explosive and when touched by an enemy, do just that. Nibbles can pass through the trees at whim but to anyone else they're solid, and in some cases hot and painful. This technique uses 1 PP. Venus Energy Trap - Nibbles charges up a small seed-shaped ball of energy for 5 seconds and then plants into the ground or launches it at a target. When the seed comes in contact with an alien ki source(anything with ki in it that's not of Nibble's) it sprouts as a pair of massive plant-like jaws and envelopes the person that tripped it. The jaws will sustain until the energy in the seedling runs out(about 25 seconds) unless Nibbles makes contact with it and continues to supply it. This heavily restricts Nibbles movement and abilities and is just not smart against an enemy with more energy reserves than he has. The jaws consist of molded ki energy and can contain an energy target like Kamehameha or Deathball just as it would a target of matter. While not always successful at stopping an attack they will slow it down. Wildfire- First Nibbles builds the wildfire aura around himself. This takes a couple of seconds. Then he just has to make contact with the enemy and the aura will cling to them. Wildfire doesn't do any damage but it is painfully bright and crackles loudly like a forest fire or a distant lightning storm. It also sticks to the target like a bad stink and is just a thin haze of energy that most anything just passes through. Nut Shot - A nut shot is very fast beam/ball. Once Nibbles lets it fly it seems to have a mind of its own, able to make turns at perfect right angles and come to complete stops, seemingly at random. With almost no effort on his part, Nibbles controls this nutty beam and usually uses it to feint and toy with his opponent before letting them have it. It deals light-moderate damage. Tree Top Army - Multiple(3-25 depending on how long Nibbles charges up the technique) energy formed squirrels emerge from Nibbles, all looking exactly like his own energy form. When the squirrels make contact with another's ki it explodes violently, damaging everything in close range. Acorn Cannon - In a prolonged battle Nibbles can congeal all the his excess energy released in recent explosions and form it into a single acorn shaped weapon. The ki still remembers what energies it tried to destroy and what energy destroyed it and it will fire an all out barrage on the source of those energies till it expends itself. Spear of Roses or Wild Thornberry - Nibbles creates a 5 foot long energy vine, that can become rigid like a spear or bend and snap like a whip. Energy thorns emerge from the whip on every side and when they bury into a surface, they implant themselves, detaching from the spear and growing into vines of their own right that try to snag onto enemies. Once an enemy is ensnared they explode. For 1 PP the new vines will be able to propagate more vines of their own till they've taken over the terrain. Like all his energy creations, Nibbles can pass through them. Custom Technique Approval - Psyren - 04-11-2010 K9 Scent-By concentrating his Ki in his nose, Oitenta can make his sense of smell a thousands times more sensitive than that of the average human; making it easy for him to distinguish people by their scent. This helps him track down a target by just the scent. Once he smells a scent he will never forget it. If he ever gets a whiff of the scent again it is instantly recalled. This is also helpful for remembering people he has met. While using this move it is hard to get close to Victoria since the current will give a small shock to those it touches within a one foot radius. |
