Like: Dungeon Fighter online.
I found myself looking for an old D&D game I used to play with some friends on wiki (I did find it, "Shadow over Mystara") and it had a link to http://dungeonfighter.nexon.net/Default.aspx, which is kind of a combination MMO and side-scrolling beat-em up game.
Certainly keeping me entertained for now.

Like: early Bleach. It was so fresh and had such a style to it. I remember liking pretty much all the characters, and thought Hinamori's crush on Captain Aizen was cute.

Like: Reading this about the SR-71
Quote:During reconnaissance missions the SR-71 operated at high speeds and altitudes to allow it to outrace threats; if a surface-to-air missile launch was detected, standard evasive action was simply to accelerate.

Hate- MArvel Comics is killing off the Human Torch in a upcoming issue to spark interest in the fantastic four........Way to go Marvel....
The Like/Hate Thread - Juno - 01-26-2011
Uh, let's kill of Mr. Fantastic, because no one actually likes him. Human Torch is the cool one in the Fantastic Four.
EDIT: Or even Invisible Woman. That would enable them to write SEVERE emotional backlash for not one, but TWO characters - Reed and Johnny.
The Like/Hate Thread - Dr. Cringle - 01-26-2011
Hah, if it happens I doubt it'll stick. Death is cheap when it comes to major IPs like Fantastic Four or Spiderman. A comic book publishing company like Marvel is going to nickel and dime the death for all it's worth, and then... "oh look at that he didn't really die after all. Or no wait, it was alternate Johnny that died (or if you prefer, Skrull!Johnny). No wait, alternate Johnny didn't die, it was the real Johnny afterall. Oh well."
"Wait, you still want more Human Torch? How convenient, there's another Human Tourch in Universe #189 alive and well. You can read about his adventures in another comic we're publishing. Here's an ad for it!" It's all about what sells at the time (or what they think sells).
And that's why I stick with self-contained graphic novels or Elseworld stories inspired by major IPs. The stories can be hit or miss, but at least that's what they are: stories. There's a beginning, middle, and end. Themes are explored, good or bad, and we're often if not always provided a sense of closure; something Marvel or DC will deny you for as long it will make them money. Since they're a business, I can understand that, but as a consumer I'm no longer taking the bait.

Marvel 1602 was pretty sweet.
Even if it was absolutely not at all what I wanted it to be.

Cringle knows the score. My bet is that there'll just be a new Human Torch.

Death is cheap in comics nowadays! When I write my own comics, people gonna stay fuggin dead.
The Like/Hate Thread - Tyr - 01-26-2011
Well Dragonball wasn't exactly making death more "expensive". You just needed some balls and poof!
Perhaps it's because the comics are still for kids (I think?). They tend to not take that whole death thing very well.
