It's really only bad when there are a bunch of Hunters, I've found. Haven't had a problem with the targeting. =O General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-12-2009 Targetting is only a problem in very, very tense situations. To quote my friend who played Prototype over Skype yesterday: "YEAH OF FUCKING COURSE I'D TARGET THE MARINE NEXT TO THE TANK INSTEAD OF THE ACTUAL TANK NEXT TO THE TANK FIRING AT ME, YOU SURE GOT YOUR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT!" It's fixed by insanely quick reflexes by holding down Tab and just watch the crosshair bounce around until you find the target you want. Unfortunately, especially in knockback/stunlocking situation, it's quite tense. On another note, I found supersoldiers to be superpansies and it bothers me that I couldn't consume one for disguise. It'd be the ultimate disguise, since they apparently have the same strength as us, so superomfgjumping wouldn't be an issue. Not that it is with the AI in the game, which really is limited because it'd be insanely hard with it being more realistic, but I'd feel better with that disguise. EDIT: Also hunters sawk bawlz. God I hate leaders. General Gaming Thread - Josh - 06-12-2009 Kaden Wrote:Definitely not a fan of that, but it hasn't caused me to die yet. It will drive you banana sandwich once you get later into the game and they ramp up the enemies to a ridiculous level. ****Spoilers***** At one point in the game there is a poison mist generate that drains your health rather quickly, and one of the generators is on the roof of a building with 2 super soldiers, 5 regular soldiers, and usually a couple of missile toting helicopters. ****Spoiler***** General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-12-2009 Armor Form + Blade Form + Right Click drop on the generator = minimum 80% health gone. Then you run off, eat someone and come back and do it again. That's how I cleared it. I maxed out survivability and didn't get the extra fighting abilities till later. General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-12-2009 HEATHEN, WHO NEEDS TO SURVIVABILITY WHEN YOU CAN JUST KILL THAT WHICH HURT YOU??! Going through Prototype on hard now that I've gone through normal. EDIT: -.x General Gaming Thread - Josh - 06-12-2009 Cerion Wrote:HEATHEN, WHO NEEDS TO SURVIVABILITY WHEN YOU CAN JUST KILL THAT WHICH HURT YOU??! That's just silly. But seriously, I never used musclemass other than to toss things but did you know if you punch a regular soldier with the power activated- THEIR BODY FREAKING EXPLODES? It was insane, I transformed in a base and decided to send soldiers flying but was surprised when I hit them that they exploded into a bloody mist. General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-12-2009 That I did not know, I only use it to throw things as well.. o.o General Gaming Thread - Josh - 06-12-2009 Cerion Wrote:That I did not know, I only use it to throw things as well.. o.o Dude they explode it's insane, it's more fun if you break into a base and do it. General Gaming Thread - Kaden - 06-12-2009 Musclemass is kinda cool. I use it, really, just because I like the way it looks. Armor + Musclemass = really badass character. General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-13-2009 I tried the Musclemass charged hit thing, minimum of 5 organs flew out of the poor guy. General Gaming Thread - Sage - 06-13-2009 Yaaaaaay! 360 showed up today! Although Waff already knew that. XD BTW, thanks, bro! I can play Mass Effect again. General Gaming Thread - Kaden - 06-13-2009 Sage Wrote:Yaaaaaay! That's pretty good turn-around time. Seems that way from what I remember, at least. General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-13-2009 Especially since Mass Effect 2 builds on your old save game in order to create a world based on your decisions in the first game. General Gaming Thread - Sol - 06-13-2009 Street Fighter 4 must have been programed by Satan himself. God damn I can't make ANY progress in this game! And trophies...? Forget about those, "Preform 78 bajjillion super awesome death move combos for a Bronze Trophy" cheayyaaaa right! Arghhh! >_< General Gaming Thread - Kole T. Merr - 06-13-2009 Cerion Wrote:Especially since Mass Effect 2 builds on your old save game in order to create a world based on your decisions in the first game. They kind of tried to do that with KoTOR 2, I believe, but you had to answer a bunch of questions about what you did in the first game. Stuff that I couldn't remember. Hopefully it will just be more of a "scan your HDD and learn what you did" kind of thing. General Gaming Thread - Kaden - 06-14-2009 I wonder what it will do if you have multiple saves. General Gaming Thread - Sage - 06-14-2009 It builds a world around- ...Oh no. General Gaming Thread - Tyr - 06-14-2009 Kaden Wrote:I wonder what it will do if you have multiple saves.... probably ask which one you want to build from? >_> General Gaming Thread - Sage - 06-14-2009 Alec Shepard is an angry man. |
