I have a friend who I've recently recruited to play and he's having trouble with Pantheon. What he can't figure out is how to build up the early gold necessary to build the items he needs to be useful.
Anyone have an item build sequence he could try as well?
I don't know anything about Panth so I'm useless.

You can't go wrong with Ghostblade. And BFSword. there you go
He does have mana problems so I tend to grab a tear early and then build it into manamune so I get damage and no mana problems. Don't get it if you plan on getting a banshee's though.
That's all I can think of right now.

I would suggest grabbing a Meki Pendant and potions to start. Rush a Brutalizer. Meki > Tear > Manamune. Finish Ghostblade. Build something tanky.
Mastery and runes for a combination of MP5 and Armor Penetration.

I just played as Amumu for the first time and loved it.
He's:
A) Adorable
B) Fairly simple to pick up
C) Mildly terrifying
