The Germans stand a fighting chance. Turkey would have beaten the spanish too. It really is a shame. They beat Turkey at their own game, a strong late surge. Classy exit for the turks though.

There's no way Turkey would have beaten Spain. Germay played poor against Turkey. The only reason the Turks scored two goals against them was because Lehman played shit. That would not have happened with Iker Casillas.

But i think Turkey matches up better with Spain, in which both teams are offensively minded. Turkey had problems with the good positioning of the German defenders, Germany has and always will be a defensive minded team. I think the Turks constantly pressing the spanish instead of laying back, like all spain's opponents do (which is how spain wins so easily), would really unsettle the spanish and allow Turkey a chance for the win.
