FEAR 3 - ditto, though this I only tried out and I found it somewhat generic except to play as the brother.
Shadows of the Damned I have no idea what is.
Alice: Madness Returns was definitely not a game for me, though I find it hard to explain. I found the combat tedious.
Dungeon Siege 3 I wanted for the PC but the controls were clunky and I couldn't get into it, plus a friend (incidentally the friend that let me try it) said that he only really played it for the story where as I need gameplay to get me connected to a good story.
LA Noire: Eh, dunno about this one, just haven't picked it up.

Thought I was the only one who was all giddy when I saw that. I was in disbelief for a moment. I'm geeking out this week with little cousin. He hasn't seen Power Rangers In Space, can't wait to show him that season.

Justin Wong himself has said that Mortal Kombat is a good game now and its beginning to gain a decent amount of respect and play in the pro circuit. From what I've heard from my friends, they have really progressed the game this time and done a good job at making a competitive game.

Just seconding this.
The last 6 Mortal Kombat games have been laughable as serious fighters and that's not real secret. MK9 is a massive, massive improvement.
