^it's my favorite stealth/espionage game of the generation, better than mgs4 imo. it was fun figuring out how to sex all the women in a single playthrough.

it's the theatric dialog style that put it over the top for me. if some developer could combine the depth of la noire's dialog with alpha protocol's seemless interaction i would play the game for the talky talking parts alone.

This story isn't half-bad. It's not pulitzer, and some parts are downright campy, but it's better than I was expecting.

Hate that my niece fell hard in the cafeteria and instead of calling myself or her mom they simply wrote a letter and continued on about the day. Her knee is swollen and looks like there's a golf ball beneath her skin. If the swelling doesn't go down by the morning I'll have to take her to the hospital.

Hate: Having to live in someone else's front room for the next month probably, until I have the money to move to somewhere new. Not being able to retreat to my fortress of solitude really stresses me out.

So basically I'm not gonna be around as much for the next month, maybe be back home on weekends so I can play some games with you dudes, but otherwise, D=. Apologies to folks in RSR, but life really does come first. Gonna be working hard at a new job which itself is fairly stressful (charity call centre) and have lots of people hanging around the house so whilst I can borrow my friend's laptop it's probably unlikely you'll see many RPs - but I have had a strong writing itch and I will try to get something up to satiate myself and bridge the gap a bit.

But like: it's damn well paid for a starting position, so in a few months I'll be back IN DA CASH, ready for the holiday season in games, and living in a new place in a new city which is much more friendly, weird and big than my current boring secular tourist-hellhole. =D Hopefully this'll be the start of something awesome. It's also nice that I already have people to hang out with who are cool enough to let me stay with them.
