It's still true though.

I really, really, really want to try this now.

League of Legends - Ashe - 08-23-2010

Magewick is the best Warwick.

League of Legends - Kaden - 08-23-2010

I really hope the changes to Galio's ult help him. The last three times he's been in a game with me (always on the other team), his ult becomes completely inconsequential after Merc Treads and, without it, he's a kind-of-tanky-but-not-really caster.

Buy treads -> walk out of ult -> ???? -> profit

League of Legends - Kole T. Merr - 08-23-2010

That Warwick build is LoLtastic (cwhatididthar?)

I'm also looking forward to trying out the new guy as well as playing some Anivia this week.

League of Legends - Kole T. Merr - 08-24-2010

Just did a Normal game as AP Warwick. Everybody on both teams was going AP. It was ridiculous. 8/10 had Zhonya's. I enjoyed doing insane amounts of burst damage.

League of Legends - Kami - 08-24-2010

Urgnot looks awesome (under the stipulation that applies to all champs, "if you can use him") all raining acid and death and stuff.

League of Legends - Kaden - 08-24-2010

He looks so broken. Who thought a 3 sec CD nuke that can't miss is a good idea?

League of Legends - Kami - 08-24-2010

I have no idea. The homing attack...god damn.

League of Legends - Orion - 08-24-2010

Just tried Magewick too. He's actually pretty good, since you don't have to rely on an easily stopped ult.

League of Legends - Waffuru - 08-24-2010

stop fucking Magewicking gaiz

I'm going to start playing way more Olaf

League of Legends - Ashe - 08-24-2010

Also, after looking at the finalized patch notes for today, I see they buffed Cleanse to remove Silence and Blind again.

League of Legends - Waffuru - 08-24-2010

Kog'Maw is going to be viable after this patch I think. Also, maybe Malphite.

League of Legends - Kaden - 08-24-2010

I definitely plan on running some Malphite after this patch. I tried him two or three times after I saw the patch on the TR and liked him.

Definitely agree about Kog. They always wanted him to be a hybrid type of champion, but it was always wonky trying to balance the AP with the AS he really needs to be effective. Their solution: just give him the AS. 30% AS is no minor deal.

I don't know how I feel about the change to Soraka's infuse. I guess it was kind of a bitch that she could give other champions mana, but unless you were prioritizing it in ranking (which I assume most people would) then it really didn't give a whole lot of mana. Now, at max rank, it will give someone else 125 mana. There really won't be much point in casting it on anyone else and Soraka really doesn't have mana problems. Maybe they want it to be used as a nuke more than it is. I dunno.

Did anyone else think the Kass buff was random as hell?

League of Legends - Waffuru - 08-24-2010

I don't like the Infuse change/nerf. That's fine though because it means I have less of a reason to not use it as a silence.

Yeah, dunno why Kassadin got some random buffs... just won the dice roll I guess.

Also, the change that "Unstoppable Force is now unstoppable" made me rofl.

League of Legends - Kaden - 08-24-2010

The Unstoppable Force is easily my favorite they've ever made.

League of Legends - Ashe - 08-24-2010

Trying to find the Mumble info again, since I just set my computer back up. So let me know in game. Also, Urgot is actually a bit fun to play around with, at least in Practice.

Guys, do you feel any difference on the characters that received buffs? Kog'Maw, Malphite and Kennen specifically? I keep seeing people do very poorly with them and I even tried but I don't feel a difference.

League of Legends - Kaden - 08-24-2010

With Kog'Maw, at the very least, nothing will change if people continue to ignore ranking his Q. That was the only real change, though it's a fairly potent one, imo.

Kennen was an underplayed champion before. We'll probably be seeing a lot of people who 1) are not used to playing him or 2) think the changes turn him into something he's not. He's still a fragile little fucker and the armor/MR buff to W won't change that. All they were trying to do was give him a more appropriate tool to dash in and set up charges and keep him relevant in later-game team fights.

Haven't tried Malphite yet. Saw one in a game earlier, but he was afk for half of it, so that doesn't really tell me anything. I did notice him using E all the damned time, though. Can't blame him, either. 60 MP at all ranks? Yes please.
