I actually own the second game, purely because years ago I picked it up second hand and didn't see it was the sequel. Still haven't unboxed. Do I need to know the story from the first?

The Like/Hate Thread - Kaden - 09-28-2012

If you just skimmed through the Wiki for the first game, you'd probably be caught up enough.

Even after playing the first one (which I re-did right when I got the second) you don't really have any idea what's going on for the first portion of the second game. Felt super Final Fantasy.

Kaden Wrote:I'm completely the same way. I like JRPGs and could care less about Disney. Loved the KH games.

I really only played the two PS2 games, but they were pretty great. The first one was almost too kiddy of a game for me, personally, but they matured the story quite a bit in the second game and it was sweet.

Yeah, there's a DEFINITE shift in tone between the two. I dig it.

Wrong.

Jeremy Clarkson has the best job ever. Coco is a distant second.

EDIT: ...Actually, I might have to concede that it's a tie. Tongue

Hate: Moderate to Severe Depression.

Hate: Fear of loss

Why do I suddenly care so much of what someone thinks of me? It's like I've taken a giant leap backwards in my way of thinking. The apathy that kept me safe is gone. I've made myself vulnerable and I have no idea how or why it happened. I've cried more in the past 4 months...than like..ever.

Love: falling asleep with my windows open while it rained and thundered all night.

Hate: That the temp fell to 55 degrees last night and I'm pretty sure I have a cold.

Hate: People who come over to cook and then dirty everything in the kitchen and what they cook isn't all that substantial and then leave this massive mess.

If you cook me a full Italian dinner with home-made spaghetti sauce from fresh tomatoes and fresh-grated parmesan, shit. I'll clean up after you. But if you spread mess all over the goddamn stove-top and oven and counter and all you 'made' was slices of french bread with jarred bruschetta and feta, fuck off

Related hate: housemates who are willing to spend immense amounts of time cooking themselves elaborate meals every day, but somehow hasn't got the time to put it all away.

Hate: My roommate. He's the nicest guy, but has no notion of reciprocity.

Tilted toward me:
1) He's effectively borrowing hundreds of dollars interest-free from me since July (still ongoing; we have an apartment ledger where we charge shared things that we both pay for. I cover utilities and he hasn't paid me back yet).
2) I left work early one day because he locked himself out of the apartment. I let him back in.

Him:
1) Does dishes slightly more often than I do.

I found out a couple weeks ago that I have two infected teeth that, rather urgently, need to be pulled. I asked him if he'd be willing to drive me there and back (since I'm going to be knocked out); he said 'Well, I leave for work at 7 [am] and am back around 5 [pm]; so as long as it's before or after that, sure.' Which is complete bullshit because what oral surgeon schedules times before 7 or after 5? He has vacation time and basically refused to even offer it, despite knowing the severity.

He's an ass. Really nice, but a fuckface.

EDIT: As it stands, the only other ride possibility is my mother, whose husband just got a kidney transplant, so the earliest we could have this done is Tuesday. Hopefully this infection stays put and doesn't decide to travel around (as facial infections are wont to do).
