Isn't it spawn protected?

Creeper, maybe?

Not when its a single pane of glass here, single pane there. And creepers don't then bucket the lava from under the building and place it onto the side of the building by the roof.

If they did, they'd be even more terrifying.

Anyway, there's a small list of people that could have done it. A very small list. I'm letting Trygelan deal with it.

Minecraft - Tyr - 02-06-2011

We have real dbags here on Chubbs. Hope they haven't touched my house... *logs in*

e: .. oookaaaaay. New spawn zone is.. big..

Minecraft - Jonathan Meer - 02-06-2011

I nicked one sheet of glass because I thought it was protected, the way the sand and all that nonsense directly outside the building was. I was wrong, so I put dirt in its place.

I didn't bucket any lava. I haven't gotten any iron yet. I haven't even started on my own hut.

Minecraft - Ashe - 02-06-2011

Server isn't ready yet.

Minecraft - Jonathan Meer - 02-07-2011

Again, we should get our own minecraft sub-forum =o

Worthwhile coords:

My house X185, Z85
Surface Dungeon with insanely massive nat cave underneath that leads down to bedrock and seriously took me the better part of an hour to just partially explore Coming (when I find it again; big as this cave is, I'm probably way off from the spawner)

Minecraft - Kami - 02-07-2011

I started mining outside the spawn and ran into a natural cave on the way down. I mined a bunch of the stuff out of it already though. I dug down until I hit bedrock, then kept digging around on that level but I didn't find too much. I might expand the mine out somewhere or go dig someplace else.

Minecraft - Jonathan Meer - 02-08-2011

surface spawner - -107, -834
surface spawner - -984, -1023

Minecraft - Kami - 02-08-2011

Yeah!

Minecraft - Rem-13 - 02-08-2011

Unfortunately I find I have more fun on my own. This game really is like real life.

Minecraft - Ashe - 02-08-2011

I'm really liking my house at the moment. Its taken a lot of work and frequent planting/harvesting of trees, but its coming along.

That said, if someone shows up with a bucket of lava or flint/tinder and right clicks, I'm homeless.

Minecraft - Kami - 02-08-2011

I like the little underwater lair someone put together. Nice work.

Rem, you're lame. Come play with us.

Minecraft - Ashe - 02-08-2011

My friend Gina came across the massive, endless natural cave. She was telling me about it, and then somehow I end up in it. Turns out it somehow went from whereever she found it near spawn to past my house, despite my house being a day's trip away. I'm still not done with that thing, but I think we managed to harvest most of the resources from it.

Minecraft - Blue - 02-10-2011

I didn't know there was such a big MC following here. Me and a bud from work sometimes play on the server I host on my pc. If he was more reliable, I'd probably play more.

Minecraft - Waffuru - 02-20-2011

I vote for turning hostile mobs off. Just logged in and DIED before the world rendered. Sooooooooooo much fun.

Minecraft - Tyr - 02-20-2011

Nooooo!

Minecraft - Blue - 02-21-2011

I heard they'll be adding ogres. Or maybe it's a mod. Either way, lava will become an integral part of any home.

Minecraft - Waffuru - 02-21-2011

I hope they learn to code some AI before then. As it stands all the mobs just follow you even when they can't see you so when you round a corner they are there.

And the new creepers are even worse, in multiplayer they explode nearly at random.

Minecraft - Blue - 02-21-2011

Agreed. On the video for the ogre, they pretty much just walked around and smashed crap. At random. Making creeper-explosion sized holes. Through mountains. I think that a server could be reduced to Adminium level by these things in a week.

Minecraft - Ashe - 02-21-2011

The Ogres are part of a mod.

He's considering getting the "creepers don't destroy blocks" mod, when its available.

That said, his lava pyramid got fucked up earlier. I logged out in broad daylight next to it when I needed to go, figuring I wouldn't have to walk inside since there's a lot of light from that lava, thus reducing spawns. I logged in and died as soon as I was in, with FOUR creepers chain exploding as soon as I could see the screen, where apparently there were a shit load of mobs right there waiting for me to log in. With all the light around.

I lost so many diamond tools and about six stacks of clay, saddles, and many many other things. Because of course they destroyed most of the ground around the lava pyramid, which then flowed down into the crater created and destroyed my gear. Not that I could see it, because soooo many mobs were camping that area. It even glitched so that I saw something like 20 mobs standing still and noninteractive in broad daylight, even after logging off.

I got pissed and started walking to my base and then suddenly died in broad daylight to a creeper explosion except there was no creeper in sight. Invisible creeper ftl.
