I meant when Alexander fought the Persians. They were severely outnumbered, but due to Alexander's tactic to simply go after the king, they won. The king did not die, but since he ran, so did the army. If he simply would have left, and the rest of the army stayed, Alexander would have died.
So yeah, I was speaking about when Alexander defeated the Persians, because they ran away, for their king was in jeopardy.
Oh, ok. That makes sense then. I thought you were talking about Alexander.

------------- on the note of United's activity, we really didn't have much to rp about since we were in such a defense situation. I think for two weeks straight i talked to Garlic every night, and each time i bugged the hell out of him to roleplay. My best example would be paragus, who every day came on and asked me what he could do for us. Not one single person but him came to the leadership and asked any questions at all. Yamcha never showed up, Jeice just posted every 4th day, 15 minutes before 10 o'clock. Then kills himself without any indication what so ever. Kolli just did whatever he pleased, and roleplayed once every 10 days. It was very hard for Garlic to communicate with some of the people in the army, and ultimatly it costs us some good rpers.

Sorry I haven't posted earlier today. I'm writing my post right now. I got home from work really late (the guy I was asking to work for me bailed at the last minute, so yeah, I had to go in) and when we got in, my gf needed to use the computer for something she felt was important. So I'm on, working on the post while trying to read things. And boy do I have a lot to post. I think. Depends on time (gotta get to work early tomorrow/Saturday)
EDIT: By the way, Gokua, I have to some your Action Jackson post scored major cool points and I loved it.

If you die, then it was a pleasure fighting against you. I enjoyed the experience more than anything.
If i die, then i can say i gave it my best shot. I fought against some great writers, and put up a good fight. I'm proud of what i did (or didn't do in some people's minds) in this saga, and the impact i had on it. I put my team in a position to win, and here we are.

Good win for you guys, Dante. We tried our damn hardest to win the battle, but we were incapable of defeating you guys. Our effort was valiant, but not enough to be the victor. I congratulate everyone that fought for Dante.
As for United, we did our best, as I stated before. Hit with many misfortunes at the beginning, we were forced into a lesser role, hoping to find a crease to slip into, but we couldn't. Every fight we craved to interject, we were too late. We lost most of the best writers we had before this final battle, but I am proud of the men that remained to fight the last stand. Koola, though left with one leg, you proved to quite the resource, hurting KV and killing Akane. A16, your tactics were great, but too bad they fell short to Dante's numbers. Paragus, you did great, and you've proven your worth. Not much to say about myself; the group kept me alive and fighting until he bitter end. I would like to say a job well done on our part. We came into this battle the most inexperienced in this contest, and probably the most misfit band of RPers. We left with our pride. I thank all of you.

Every deal I ever made with an offer of zeni was designed to encourage suspicion of treachery, and I had no plans to accept anyone who wanted to join our side.

I figured as much. Even if someone did trade, they would have been dealt with after killing the original PCs of Dante.
