I hate ignorant customers. For one thing, pay attention to the signage. There is a HUGE sign up front as you walk in through the only doors of the store that says we have FIVE DAYS LEFT in BIG BOLD LETTERS. Whatever language you speak, you should be able to decipher that that means we close in five days. That is next tuesday, folks. Like I told the customer in front of you the same damn thing loud enough so the entire line three deep from me can hear it, we close on december 23, 2008. Esta tienda se cerrará el 23 de diciembre. I don't speak swahili or whatever you other Somalians speak, so you're shit outta luck. That is actually kinda odd when your country has been occupied by several english speaking countries over the past few decades and you guys can't speak english. But, I guess whatever, do whatcha gotta do.

Also, I loathe and despise shoes. All that damn paper, and boxes and soooo many mismates that we must now try to find mates or near mates for, or they end up as garbage, because you can't place a fucking shoe that you used on your nasty fuckin' feet back into its container and placing it back on the shelf in front of you. Is that difficult? Must I come back and SHOW you how to do this elementary action? Jesus Christ people, exercise some common sense.

And to those that leave their young children to wreak havoc on the toys/cards/domestics sections, please, for the love of God, keep an eye on them. We don't need Code ADAMS every half hour because you were comparing shower curtains and/or trying to switch the tag to get a lower price. If you don't like the price, then you don't need it. Put it back on the hook, preferably in the condition you found it, unmolested by your grubby little fingers covered in grease from the double cheese you bought from McDonald's across the road.

And I swear, I would die a happy woman if I never hear another damned commercialized and differing renditions of the same fucking Christmas song for the remainder of my life.




Now, I will sit here and sip my Southern Comfort (unfortunately, no JD could be found. This CocaCola makes a great drinking companion, making everything all nice and smooth.) and light my cancer stick that I've been meaning to quit for some time now, and pray to God that I can get through this without going plumb fuckin' nuts.

I've done the service sector shpiel. I'm back in it part time to pay my university bills. Don't fuck with those people. Dick around with people who deserve it. If the clerk/waiter/tech support/whatever guy is a dick, then by all means give them hell.
