"Look, I'm sorry about what happened yesterday ..." he begins.
"Oh yeah?" The saiyaness rounds on him, eyes narrowed angrily. "Well, you'd better have a good explanation!"
The golem sighs. "Well, ever since I was a kid, I loved crabs. I was jealous of them; wanted to be one of them, y'know? Anyway, one day when I was about 17 I just snapped. We were at the beach, and there were all these crabs, and they just looked like they were having so much fun, so I ..."
Celipa raises an eyebrow. "So you what?"
"I ... I started pretending to be a crab. At first it was just like a crazy hobby, something I did to relieve stress. But over time it got to be an obsession. Every night I would take off my clothes, don my shell and go to the beach, until all I ever wanted to do was be a crab."
The monster shakes his head before continuing. "I knew it was bad for me. Before long it started to affect work, and my social life. People would point at sand stuck to my face, and I would just say I fell over into a sand castle, or that it was exfoliating scrub. But I knew the truth.
"Day by day, my obsession with crabs was destroying my life."
Celipa stares for a second, meeting Buu's intent gaze before speaking. "That's the biggest crock of bullshit I've ever heard in my entire life."
She walks away, leaving the monster staring sadly at the floor.
