A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 I've got a plot for Kol, but it's going to need a powerful NPC to be a reoccurring villain to him. Plot summary. Kol's father is going to be sort of psycho. He's going to be a sort of supremest as well, thinking that Saiyans that use transformations beyond their own genetically common tail trait are mutations. He feels that one that relies on transformations and alternate forms to gain strength are no better then the Changelings that have repressed his race for so much of history. That being said, on top of this, he hates his son, and daughter, for thinking they were the reason his wife was killed (As they had discussed her leaving the military, and she refused to as long as her children lived and she would protect them) so, he tried to kill them both. His sister, Kale, escaped unharmed, but Kol had his heart forcefully removed (which is why there's the scar there). He would have died if not placed into artificial intensive care less then a minute later by a team of paramedics that accompanied a squad to pursue the rogue Saiyan. His heart as since been replaced with an artificial one. Essentially, I want to have Kol's father have a power level equal to a second Tier without actually ascending to a second tier. He will never use a transformation, as he has no tail, and to transform would be against everything he stands for. I plan to have him be a constant threat to Kol, pursing him with the intent of murdering his son and daughter. Any comments? A question about my possible personal NPC - Mr. Zhu - 06-01-2007 All I can say is... Poor Kol A question about my possible personal NPC - Android-18 - 06-01-2007 I don't see why not, as long as he doesn't kill PCs and such lol. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 ![]() The HEART SCAR D: A question about my possible personal NPC - Yajirobe - 06-01-2007 Sweet story line. I would gladly assist you in ending his life lol. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 Quote:Originally posted by Android-18 No killing of PCs....other then Kol. Is that allowed? And...can he at least fight other PCs? Or is that a no? A question about my possible personal NPC - Old Zangya - 06-01-2007 Maybe, come custom time, you could have someone play him and Kol's sister. A question about my possible personal NPC - Mr. Zhu - 06-01-2007 Oh yeah........ Thats a great idea by Zangya!!! I would personally love to RP as one of your custom guys XD A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 You've been Reecome, haven't you? A question about my possible personal NPC - Szar - 06-01-2007 I have... A question about my possible personal NPC - Old Zangya - 06-01-2007 Just as a note, if you can't find anyone else, I'd play one of them. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 I don't think I'd want anyone but me to be Kol's dad. XD Random killer NPC, needs to be an NPC or he won't have the same threatening effect. A question about my possible personal NPC - Mal Nova - 06-01-2007 NPC's in fights can die. But they cant kill nor can they effect the outcome of a fight. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 If a character can commit suicide, they should, by all rights, be allowed to kill themselves with an NPC they created, or give permission to be killed by another's. A question about my possible personal NPC - Ander - 06-01-2007 Yes, you can do what you want storywise with your NPC. No, your NPC cannot kill you, or anyone else. Your NPC would be for roleplaying purposes only, and not treated as a secondary character for you. That is, you can't have roleplays with just him in it or him having more face time than Kollifum. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 So even if given permission, I couldn't have him kill anyone. Could I have him smack down Kol so hard he'd need intensive care? Or in respect, anyone else who gave me permission to do so? And by no means do I plan to do solo roleplays with this guy. I don't even like him. XD I made a character I hate. A question about my possible personal NPC - Ander - 06-01-2007 The rules with NPCs are different than player versus player, despite our amendment to the death rule. NPCs cannot, in any circumstance, affect a spar or fight, or kill anyone. You can have him beat Kol to a bloody pulp and put him on the brink of death, but he can't actually kill you. If you're going to have a fight/spar, keep it in a personal roleplay, as it doesn't count as an actual fight/spar. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 Sooo...if I were to have Kol and another RPer fight my NPC, that'd be personal RP, right? A question about my possible personal NPC - Ander - 06-01-2007 Correct. A question about my possible personal NPC - Deo - 06-01-2007 Will these NPC rules remain the same after the turn over? |
