Whilst I understand the benefits of an adjustable, point-based warning system (hell, the current system was based off something I made), I think you need some more structure. No offense, I'm not trying to criticise the way staff run things etc, but I think this would help:

Have a standard points penalty for certain infractions. 1 Point for spamming in Spam OFF, 2 for posting in Staff-only, 3 for Flaming etc. Perhaps even when temp bans are merited. These can be adjusted depending on severity, but I think it would be good to have a standard, otherwise the system is too random (I suggested this because I've seen a lot of different points given out for the same infractions).

I will leave it at that, and I hope you elaborate on the suggestion. 8)

Yea, I just suggested it as well earlier today but Raditzu gave me a good reason why we arn't going to be doing that. Mainly because the whole is that it's situational and it's based off what the current staff member believes is nessecary.

So, no.

On a side note, if a staffer believes an infraction is too high or too low, they are welcome to bring it up for reconsideration in the staff forum.
