So let's get a list of the Chubbsians that have it. This way we can at some point have a massive battle.
Also just talk about the game here. I'm still new to the 360, so I still love Gears like it was a new game. Just seems so much more real and 'physical' than the disembodied floatiness of an FPS. Haven't completed the main game yet, I just got out of the area where you have to plant the resonator. Out of curiosity, anybody know how far I am? >_>

Almost done. Its a really short game, unfortunately.
If you like the feel of GoW, you should check out Rainbow Six: Vegas. That's a great game that uses several mechanics that are similar to ones used in GoW.
I had Gears, but ended up trading it in towards Halo 3. Not saying I didn't like the game (I loved it) or that I think Halo is better (they're trying to do two very different things) but I just wasn't going to play it anymore.
Now that I think about it, though, I think Gears was actually a present for my bro. So, I'll probably end up replacing it at some point. >.> Anyway, I'm definitely up for some Live Gears when I get it back.

I've probable spent more time playing Gears than I have any other game. It's just epic in every sense of the word. The only fault with it, and it's a big fault, is how ridiculously glitchy it is. It's a shame, cause other than that the game's almost perfect, IMO.
I haven't played Gears much since I got my 360 back, too busy getting to grips with Halo. Sucks balls that I'll probable never get 1250/1250 achievement on the game, since the "Seriously..." achievement is glitched.

EDIT: I'm not trying to hate on you or anything, I just don't think I've ever heard anyone call a game all but perfect in the same paragraph they complain about the bugs in it.

I think I'm done with GoW multiplayer. I tried to play, and I sucked at it. Instead of helping me learn what to do, the other players decided to instead just make fun of me. It was a very irritating experience.

Yeah, they tend to do that alot. But it's better if you've played the game though on story mode before attacking or even looking at the multiplayer.

The thing with Gears multiplayer is, how well you do basically depends 60-70% on your connection to the host, well that's atleast what I've found from my experience with the game.
I just played tonight for the second or third time since, well the last two months. It just reminded me of how unbe-fucking-lieveable awesome this game is. It's like a visual orgasm, but it's not just the graphics, the gameplay just feels... right. I guess it's not that big a surprise I did play it roughly 4 hours a day for acouple of months not long back, maybe that's why I just can't get into Halo.
Oh and just thought I'd add, I saw the sickest headshot today, I have ever seen, ever.

First online game I ever played, I got the same experience as Burter. However, after me and my friend played about half an hour of offline versus, cycling through the maps, I went online and had a lot of fun. As with all multiplayer games, knowledge of the maps is pretty much required (multiplayer maps for all games should really come with an overview, along with weapon locations and such. Otherwise it's just creating a bigger gap between vets and newbs).
I had a lot more fun this time. I came second, and (gasp) was getting more kills than deaths. Until all the hardcore clan people bunched up in one team. =(
Obviously, a lot of it's to do with the people you play with.
