A large, dark skinned man in a midnight blue jacket pumped fist after fist into the slim figure's stomache and ribs, occassionally stopping to force down his defenses and laughingly slap him across the face. Propped against the wall not far from the spectacle was a long staff with thick, weighted tips, and a young woman wearing shades of paler blue. Her silver hair extended loosely over one eye, nearly disguising a nonetheless distinct eyepatch. She kept her arms crossed gently against her chest as she leaned backward, clearly not as interested in the victim as her male counterpart.

"Sorry, man, but we can't have a bunch of nosy reporters snoopin' around WarioWare, and askin' questions they don't need to be askin'... ya know? I gotta...ya know, teach you a lesson and all."

"AUDIENCE."

Raijin took a pause in his rough pummelling of the reporter, putting a large hand against the poor soul's shoulder to steady him while Raijin turned. Standing not too far from the incident was Link, an intent look scrawled across his face...the young man having just made the journey across the road to where all this was taking place. Raijin merely shrugged.

"Hey, if he wants to watch...I'm not shy or nothin', ya know?"

Raijin drew back a tight fist, readying for another strike...but found himself once more interrupted. This time, it wasn't by the vocal tuggings of Fujin, but by the sound of crisp blade being drawn from sheathe. Fujin eyed the blonde haired lad, who'd drawn the Master Sword from its resting place...intent on firing a strike, should Raijin lay another finger on the otherwise innocent man. The focused scowl across Link's expression made his intentions clear. A low smirk began to rise upon Raijin's lips as he palmed the reporter's face, lightly pushing him to the ground. Raijin then eagerly turned, cooly cracking his thick knuckles.

So...you're gonna play the hero and save this poor jerk, huh? I guess that's cool and all, ya know? I'd be glad to walk away and let this go, but I can't just back down from a fight...I got a reputation to defend, ya know?

"REPUTATION?"

"Yeah, ya know...I'm real old school in uh...

...well...

...I'm real famous in...uh...

...ya know."

Fujin stifled a low chuckle as Raijin rolled his broad shoulders, finally stepping forward and taking a hard swing at Link. Swaying low to the side, Link easily avoided the enormous blow...and with a subsequent sway, narrowly dodged Raijin's follow through punch. After a few more missed strikes, Link attempted to make a dive for the injured reporter...only to find a large hand to his chest pushing him backward roughly. Link stumbled back, tightening the grip on the Master Sword's handle...this time preparing to use it. Raijin glanced over an armored shoulder, back to Fujin.

"Hey, uh...this guy's a little faster than I thought he might be. I might need to even the playing field a little, ya know?"

Fujin slid a slender hand to her jaw, attempting to mask her expression long enough to force her own smirk away. Finally controlling her amused break in an otherwise faultless stride, she leaned over from where she had normally been resting against the wall. Fujin struggled for a moment, blatantly straining to pick up Raijin's massive weapon. Finally hoisting the weight-ended staff over one shoulder, she tripped forward a few steps, and let the instrument fly...tossing it awkwardly toward Raijin. The large man caught the staff easily with one hand, giving it a surprisingly fluid twirl before retaking a ready stance...gripping the staff firmly between both hands. Fujin retook her position leaning quietly against the wall, next to the downed reporter as Raijin began to circle Link.
