Joining: Brandon Pyre - Brandon Pyre - 01-07-2009 Name: Brandon Pyre Race: Half Human/Half Fire Elemental Sex: Male Starting Planet: Earth Profession: Freelance Welder Fighting Style: Calculating, Courageous Short Bio: Brandon had a fairly eventless childhood for a red head. There were times when trouble just followed him around and it was during these times that he learned to fight and stand up for himself. It wasn't until after he finished his schooling that his mother decided it was time he knew his heritage. Finding out that he was only partly human didn't change his outlook much as he was already part way through a welding apprenticeship and looking forward to finally working for himself. General Description: Standing at 5' 7” Brandon is hardly an imposing figure. His striking crimson hair manages to make him stand out from a crowd so he tends to cover it with cap or bandanna. Starting Abilities: Elemental Ki (Fire), Ki Sense Trait: Defiant Statistics: Strength: 20% Focus: 15% Endurance: 35% Agility: 30% Role-play Sample: I've used this one previously hope its still ok. Also sick of Gaia Role plays where people post half a line as a reply post. A lone figure slowly made his way down the empty street at night. The flickering street lights guiding his path as he went. The figure stopped outside of a clothing store, moving closer to the reflective glass window he stared in at the manikins wearing the latest fashions. His green skin and dark eyes reflected back at him as he continued to gaze at the window. Eventually he noticed some movement in his peripheral vision. “Who's there?” he asked tentatively “Your worst nightmare demon!” a gruff male voice replied from behind him. Spinning around he yelled “I AM NOT A DEMON!! My name is Nohkan... Why can't you people just leave me alone?” he paused before saying “ I never hurt any of you and I promised never to return to your town.” “Like we can trust the promises of a demon.” the gruff man countered as he lifted his weapon above his head... Time passed in what seemed like an eternity as the baton came down towards Nohkans face. Carefully he took a step to the right at the last second. With his attacker off balance Nohkan clenched his fist and thrust out his arm into the mans elbow dislocating it and forcing him to drop his weapon. He screamed in agony as his forearm flapped around. “You didn't think I came alone did you?” he growled between winces as another two men came out of hiding. “There is really no need for anyone else to get hurt here today.” Nohkan stated strongly. “You're the only one here who is going to get hurt, DEMON!” one of the new men hissed. “How many time do I need to tell you that I'm not a demon?” Nohkan pleaded “Is there no way I can prove that to you?” “Stop trying to lie to us demon. You can't stop us from killing you.” “I'm sorry it had to come to this.” Nohkan said as he started to gather ki around his hand. “Energy Sword” he said quietly to himself as the ki took on a purple hue and gathered to a point around his hand resembling a small sword attached to his hand. His attackers eyes widened “This just proves that you must be a demon... Lets get him boys!” The three men all rushed at Nohkan, two with weapons raised and the third in front running as if he was going to charge into Nohkan... Jumping over him as he got near Nohkan used him as springboard to attack the other men. Kicking him trough the shop window behind him Nohkan surged towards the attacker to his left slicing off his arm with the energy sword before thudding to the ground skidding a short distance before rolling back to his feet, just in time for the other man to bring his baton crashing into Nohkans back. There was a sickening thud as ribs broke. Nohkan spun around driving his elbow into the mans neck causing him to drop to the ground in a limp fashion. “I hope this encourages you to leave me alone now.” Nohkan stated as he walked away leaving the three men to their pain Joining: Brandon Pyre - Alura - 01-07-2009 Looks okay, I'll set you up before I head to bed |
