I FINALLY got to 55, woo hoo! The death knight starting area is so awesome once I finally figured it out. I haven't decided what server to put my death knight on, but for now she's on Area 52.

I created one last night and ran through the quests, it's more fun to play than my Warrior was on Altar of Storms. But it seems pretty haxxed as a class, I imagine they will nerf it soon. I was able to kill a constant stream of about 10 mobs at my level or a bit lower without running out of health or having to pot.
It's almost like my lock and priest, except more hax.

DK damage massively outclasses mob hitpoints until you hit Northrend, where it evens out.
I love how people play five levels of a class - barely even out of the tutorial, really - and think they can make judgments on it.

No. This is a common outcry by people right now, but Blizz has stated multiple times that just because they are a Hero class does not mean that they should be retardedly imbalanced and overpowered. Hero class just means special class that you start at lvl 55 and have to kinda work to get (having a 55 character) with some cool stuff about it. It has nothing to do with an actual goal to have a 70% Death Knight census in the arena compared to all the other classes (which is almost true right now).

Well, they're not, weren't intended to be, and no. Blizzard has stated many times that they intend to make WoW into an "e-sport." Making one class more powerful than all the others would royally fuck that up.

They are over powered, at least until level 70 apparently.
At level 59 I owned a level 61(Elite), and 5 55-57 mob at the same time at 70% health going in.
Without a Pot I might add.
