The site doesn't look all that ripoff to me. If it looks copied in game, then most likely what happened is someone used the client to create a private server, and then went replacing models of things until they got something they liked. Which would keep it mostly in that direction.
I've seen more blatant ripoffs than this. I think there was a game called "War of the Worldcraft" or something equally retarded that was entirely the blizzard site (even still had stuff in the html code identifying it as a copypasta) with a few minor adjustments to fit their needs.
