I had a pretty sewious conversation tonight with a couple of people I know online, and we started talking about... y'know... life and all that good stuff. The more we talked, the more I worried that I've become too detached and disillusioned at the tender age of... however old I am. So, I was kind of hoping to get some other people to, kinda, weigh in on their experiences and stuff.
I guess... what I'm really asking is... what kinds of sexpectations do you guys have?

It's called growing up.
As a child things seem hopeful, magic bunnies and fat man who break into houses and leave gifts exist. But as you grow up it slowly burns away and you realize the reality that everything is chance occurrences and there are no such things as miracles and magic.
All those new things become old hat and you see them repeated over, and over again until you realize you've already done that, seen that, and read it a bajillion times.
You look at children and teenagers and you realize how simple they think, and how ridiculous their expectations are and wish you could go back to thinking like that but you can't which in itself is depressing so you reminisce and try to escape the reality that you're a meat robot with the illusion of a soul.
In the end.
Bad things happen for no reason, magic doesn't exist, and when you die nothing happens except that you die.
Getting old sucks.

I don't get laid very often, but it's not something I particularly go after all the time. I certainly have a CAPACITY to get laid more than I do now, but I'm just not interested enough to hunt it like a hound.
When I do have some physical attention, I try to enjoy it for what it is: mutual physical satisfaction. If you are in love with a person that might mean something different to you, but that doesn't mean it's any less valid to screw some hot chick heartlessly and leave in the morning.
It will be what you make it, I suppose is the synopsis.
