Split Personality And NPC's - Vad - 06-11-2009
Can NPC's bring things to the table in situations where PC's can't?
For example; in my roster I have Situational Advantages and Disadvantages. Vad excels in Combat and loses his functionality outside of combat. He's a soldier by heart.
I was wondering if Trixie could bring logic and wisdom to the table. She could be the one who handles non-combat situations. A mentor so to speak. She'd give him guidance either in person or through talking to him while housed inside his mind.
=/ This is extremely hard to explain, feel free to double take and ask questions. A blunt version would be:
Vad:
Situational Strengths: Combat
Situational Disadvantages: Non-Combat Problem Solving
Trixie:
Situational Strengths: Daily Problem Solving; Analytical Thinking
Situational Disadvantages: Combat
That allowed, undecided, or FUCK NO?

Eh, no. Much deeper my man. I'm talking if we're in a group completing a task that doesn't involve combat, she can weigh in through Vad.
And I had to add, if she ever get's separated, this link breaks. Like she's on Frost right now. She wouldn't be able to help. From your response, am I right to assume that your answer is no?
