If I was to get 512k internet access what sort of download speed could I expect? What about upload speed? Would it be strong enough to hold up in online FPS' and PVP rpgs? What about if two people are online on the same connection?

It doesn't exist in certain parts of the country/world. It should hold up in games pretty well then? Meaning no ridiculous disadvantage in online games.

No. It shouldn't.
80 k/sec is... decent but you'll probably suffer.
I've got 1.2 (I think, I torrent stuff at ~800 k/sec, so chances are someone can tell me bang-on what my rated speed is) mbps and it's cheap as shit. Are you sure there's not an alternative to... awful bandwidth in your area? I know we're ahead of you guys when it comes to connection speed/cost/etc, but, seriously, you're not in, like, Slovenia. I assume Slovenia has poor internet.
