There any difference in a reward than a job quest vs a quest a person can whip up themselves and do? Jobs you get zeni, so in a quest you'd get zeni as well or zeni and xp? Or just zeni in both cases?

The difference is that one gives you zeni and one gives you zeni and a job marked as done toward your next rank.
