[00] Library - DA 2009 - 11-01-2009 A library with thousands of documents and publications, both in written and online form. You need only to use the vast search database to find what you are looking for. [00] Library - Ren - 11-04-2009 The white haired android opened the door to the library with his two massively abnormal hands. Something about the room didn’t sit well with him as for some reason it reminded him of the lab he was manufactured in. It had something to do with all the computers that cluttered the room rather then having actual books. He groaned inside as he looked towards one of the consuls that read library directory. It had simple instructions and when he found out how many books spanned its database he nearly wanted to turn and walk out. It could take forever to find anything he was looking for in this mess. Nankan looked at the way the computer was formed and stood there tapping at some keys. A few lines of data spilled across the screen as an information bar to search for key words or authors popped up onto the screen. The system was rather simple to understand so he put in a few religious key words. As he hit the search option he found loads of different book titles spilled across the small screen. A groan escaped his lips just as he heard a female’s familiar voice come across the room. She was directing the question towards him. Apparently he looked as clueless as he felt. The attendant smiled for a bit and then pranced over happily that someone was making use of the room. She was glad it seemed like someone who at least had some intelligence as well. She had been trying not to be to confusing but still using as big of words as she could find in her vocabulary. The thing was he was a machine and had about as big if not bigger vocabulary but her efforts were still enjoyable. He stood there for a minute watching her instruct him before making a move towards the machine making a careful effort not to touch her or seem rude. It was a priest’s duty after all to keep himself as pure as possible. Getting too close to women in his position was not something that was good for the image. Still he had his troubles as to most women for a holy man he didn’t look half bad. It also had to do with the fact of them corrupting such people was a thrill. Something he knew all too well as he had seen it on many occasions. As the finally dressed woman walked away the priest almost couldn’t help but look back at the way her hips swayed. A small smile slipping across his face as for an android he was practically human in his mannerisms and thought processes. Something his creators had installed into him before letting him go. Hell he might even be capable of having children seeing as how close to human he really is. The android wonder stood there staring at the spilling information of the various different religions and how they were started. He was particularly interested in their beliefs and practices. The white haired muscle mass had only being knowledgeable in Christianity. Now he hoped to broaden his horizons. Still he couldn’t shake the fact that he was being observed from somewhere. Where ever that may be he wasn’t all that happy about being spied on. Strangely enough it was just the female from what he could see looking him over. She noticed him looking at her a blush crossed her face as she went to hide it in one of the monitors glowing lights. The female had shoulder length blond hair and blue eyes and she seemed to rather fit for a librarian. Other then that she seemed normal enough even in her prying eyes. She mustn’t have gotten many visitors but hell it isn’t like he was the only male here to look at but still she followed here. It was almost as if she only had eyes for him which was a bit disturbing to say the least. The built figure turned his eyes back to his screen reading a bit more enough. He read it at an incredible speed as he scanned through it almost as if not truly reading it. Something the female seemed to dismiss as she probably knew more about him then he knew about her. So he ignored her prying eyes until a built human male entered the room and began to guard the door shooing her off. Saying something about her doing her job and that it wasn’t a dating service. The man looked almost like the one who brought him here but his hair was brown and his eyes matched his hair. He didn’t hide them behind glasses either. Nor did he hide that he was here to look after the new comer. A bit of irritation ran through the android as he was not one to normally like so much unneeded attention. “So I take it that you’re my care taker until things get started.” Nankan didn’t even look from his screen or seem to stop reading as he spoke. The man simply grinned in response and blocked the door off with his massive build. Apparently the priest wasn’t going anywhere for right now at least not till he was done with whatever it was he was doing. Still it was not likely he would need a shower or to eat as he didn’t really need either since he had left. Hell he didn’t need to eat at all for that matter. A shower after a fight though might have been a good idea. Never know what you could catch out here or how beat up you’ll get. The thought had crossed his mind for a brief moment almost making him laugh. He doubted anyone could hurt him to badly, however he was not one to push his own luck even with a human as some of them could easily break metal objects. As the android read through the material before him the man at the door seemed to be checking some lethal equipment. Something he was not familiar with but the design looked easy enough to understand. It was some sort of gun it seemed to have a different type of ammo then what he was use to as well. Well the guard worked on it a bit it emitted a small hum and then went silent. Then the man started to fettle with his watch. “Great mister protective is armed and dangerous. What would be next mini hacking tools in his watch.” The priest mumbled the words under his breath but still some how got the gunman’s attention. That’s when he noticed a small out cove not far from where he was so he decided to walk towards it. As he approached the area the guard settled his eyes on him. The android noticed walls of books and documents. Information that he himself could not hope to finish in the time he would be here. Then the thought crossed his mind that now would be a good time to at least start. Hell if he ever came back he could continue then. Still something about the place gave him an eerie feeling so instead of going back to the front where the computers were he started browsing books. The mechanical man going from one cover to the next, however going from one shelf to another might be problematic. He did make sure however not to leave the books out putting them back where they belonged. “Be careful with those. They aren’t cheap some we can’t come by anymore.” The guard’s voice came crashing the book case as he peered through the other side. It was almost enough to get the man on the other side to throw the book at him until he had registered what the man had said. Instead of responding however he just went on reading. His eyes seeming to light up as if beams were just scanning the words into his brain like some sort of super computer. Information on where he was and the planet he had come from. The white haired figure a bit saddened by how vague the books were on his current location decided to skip over them. He was bound to find that information out soon enough anyways. |
