You can start your own story in your own thread in the planet that you chose to start on, or you can join the upcoming saga, Dante's Abyss 2009, the thread for which can be seen at the bottom of the IC (In Character or Roleplaying) section of the Forums.

Read the Control thread... it explains that you are sent a chip and aninvitation that will let you get to the place for free...
So technically all you have to do is sign up OOC and make a post in the welcom thread
