Round One Discussion - DA 2009 - 11-08-2009 This is a non-area specific discussion for the game in general. No spam please. Round One Discussion - Ashe - 11-08-2009 BOOOO to the group with Kaden, Sage, and Sophia in it. Best starting position ever, even in the City for crying out loud. XD Just kidding guys, good luck. My starting position is technically going to be a lot rougher but they really don't matter much since we can just go from one to the other fairly quickly. Round One Discussion - DA 2009 - 11-08-2009 I thought it was kinda funny myself. The Sectors were selected randomly, and rotated once per every name drawn, so the fact that all of them managed to end up together is pure lucky chance. I'm pretty stoked for the game. Round One Discussion - John Doe - 11-08-2009 I love randomness. Three of the four people who didn't post during the preliminaries are in the same starting position. =P Round One Discussion - Mal Nova - 11-08-2009 You know... I have a few ideas after reading the story posts THis shall be fun Round One Discussion - Ashe - 11-08-2009 John Doe Wrote:I love randomness. That round could have gone to just which of the four managed to get a roleplay up period. Round One Discussion - Jesper - 11-08-2009 Good luck to everyone. =D Round One Discussion - Ashe - 11-08-2009 Sophia Wrote:Good luck to everyone. =D Same =D I think we'll really see some surprise hitters this year. Round One Discussion - Jesper - 11-08-2009 I hope so. I was looking at the bets thread and kept thinking "I hope someone just comes out of nowhere and pwns all of our asses." It would hurt my precious pride, of course, but it would still be awesome to see. Round One Discussion - Jesper - 11-09-2009 Since the city is what we make it, let's assume it's a modern city. That's what I'm writing as we speak. Round One Discussion - Belle Hibiki - 11-09-2009 I will try to make a post tonight. I will be away most of the day tomorrow on account of needing to drive to my brother's college town to drop off some stuff for him now that he has a steady income. Round One Discussion - Kaden - 11-09-2009 At the behest of Sage and Ashe, both are included in my recent RP. I just didn't want people to, like, think I was taking liberties. Anyway, as a general point of discussion, how have people been imagining the ki rifles to look? It would be nice to have some semblance of consistency, I think. Round One Discussion - Ashe - 11-09-2009 I honestly think they are meant to be inconsistent, to fit the person using it. I think we can have pistols, rifles, machine gun, whatever. Round One Discussion - Kaden - 11-09-2009 Ashe Wrote:I honestly think they are meant to be inconsistent, to fit the person using it. I think we can have pistols, rifles, machine gun, whatever. Oh... yeah. That makes sense. Hadn't actually thought of that. Round One Discussion - Belle Hibiki - 11-09-2009 Wasn't going to post it, but I decided to stop at a good point and post what I had until I could finish it up later. 15 hr. workshift yesterday was brutal on my body and I've been laying around most of the day ~_~ Round One Discussion - Ashe - 11-09-2009 I roleplayed using a map after looking through the rules and not finding anything contradictory. However, I perused the Questions thread just a moment ago and saw Ander actually nix the idea of us having maps with any idea of bunkers and all, so... don't mention the fact that my character looked at one, because I'm just going to write it out when I get a chance (fever dream? Who knows?). I don't know if that means we can't have information brochures in our bags letting us know that we are supposed to be going to bunkers to avoid dusting and such or not, but well... Nobody got bags or anything like that. They were just transported into the program with whatever they had on their person and a ki rifle. The idea was for people to become familiar with the bunkers and stuff during the preliminary. Here is my compromise: maps and game information can be found inside of the bunkers. You just have to "accidentally find" a bunker, and all the information you need will be in there. Bunkers also have "medical supplies," "sleeping quarters," "food," "drinks," or whatever else people need to "survive." Round One Discussion - Celena - 11-10-2009 Yay, food! Round One Discussion - Ashe - 11-10-2009 DA 2009 Wrote:^ This I uh... had my school bag on me when we were taken. Not arguing, just explaining the logic behind why I thought it. I'll fix it in a bunker though by losing the bag. I'll find a way to loot the shit out of it for the mp3 player and cell phone though. Round One Discussion - Vad - 11-10-2009 Anyone offering tutoring for writing shit like this? Because I'm drawing a blank when I sit down and try to RP activities in a forest. I'm a plot and storyline writer atm. I'm being totally serious btw. |
