I guess I have a group of peers give or take so here goes:
I'm a 3rd Shift guy(Grave Shift) at a convenience Store, where you would call it Drug Central... Not Scared. Not real smart on Drugs either. Step mom got me the job, but left for another store, cuz she fucks up a lot and thinks it was to fast, but some how came when we were missing a member for a day and was asked to go into her own store on her day off.... and got removed from the schedule... so she's back with us.
Well it would have been Monday that she 'WAS SICK". I got off at 5 AM. Watched me 2 Yugioh GX Eps. and tried to sleep. & 20 came around and my phone was howling(I have two Wolf ring tones) I answered and they are calling from across the trailor to ask for money for her doctor.
I gave them my card to get $20 out of the ATM and the 8 bucks I had on me.
I tried to take another nap but I have a thing where I nap so many hours... wake up... do my thing and nap again before nightfall...
So I felt JACKED UP from the catnap...
Took a shower read... couldn't sleep. About the time I was dozing off... Phones going off...
Step-mom asking me to switch shifts with her... Quick thinking says "WTF?" I become so irate and annoyed that I just throw the phone up in the air. I try to close my eyes but... it sucks... to annoyed.... I mean this is a bitch that HATES MY SHIFT... AND if she did it would mean SHE WOULD BE HOUNDED by an assistant manager and maybe the manager as they would both be their on that Tuesday Because that is Beer count day.
Stephanie comes over a bit before she has to go to work. Heh... Just seeing her relieves stress for me... But it happens and it seems neither can wait till the 20th, when she gets the bar in her arm and more stress is relieved.. And I have already decided I was going to go in...
So yea I figured im the nice guy(Yea I am not an asshole as much as I am on here... till I explode.... But Me and Tam think its cuz i drink and get annoyed that I do explode on here lol), so I get up NO SLEEP... ONLY less then an hour sleep really before my previous shift... And get dressed... I go fix my cable... Dressed go get some water... She comes out, "You going in?"
Me annoyed "I guess. I'm tired"
Her "I will go in. Just come in as early as you can."
I go get undressed and lay day... Let USA Channel play with Law and Order: CI and try to sleep. Around 7 my door knocks and I've had a fucked up Half sleep mode... ANd IM pissed... I know its my dad and I curse all the way... He asks me if im gonna help her and I said as I told her, 'WHEN I get some sleep"
No more slep. cuz I cant calm down... I text my girl...
I take a shower...
I get dressed and get there around 8...
HALF her shift...
Get a 'thank you' and as shes talking to the other employee there, I get to hear her complain about the others that wouldn't do it... And had to bite my tongue... I think Manada, the 2nd register saw it but Yeah... I pulled half her shift and mine...
KNOWING she just asked me for money...
AND KNOWING that im owed money for the cable
AND KNOWING I WAS ABOUT TO BE FUCKED...
Family Reunion is this Saturday
Planned on doing it... then going bowling (With sister and who ever)... lol
If I paid weekly reant the phone bill and the Comcast bill... i'd almost be broke
My Sister said that I should take the weekly rent and use that as payment... of the Shit IM owed...

If you didn't want to work her shift you should have just said no. I can't tell if this is your mom or stepmom or whatever, but you don't seem to like her much, so you shouldn't have to do things you don't want to for her.
If the place you guys live in is under your name and she's "just staying for a bit" then you can charge her rent, reasonable rent like half.

I pay the rent... and IM NOT SO easy at saying 'NO' when it comes to helping another
Guess it all ends at if I should take their part of the cable bill and what they borrowed out of the rent
