The Frieza thing is true, although it's because he went up to his maximum power. Just like anyone, when you try your hardest, you grow tired more quickly.
The 17 one is comparing someone who has a unlimited supply of energy to someone who doesn't. I don't know what your trying to prove with that comment, unless your just saying Piccolo got tired? Because yeah, everyone in dbz gets "tired", it's just they can suddenly pull out huge bursts of energy out of nowhere to defeat someone who isn't tired, in the slightest.
I never said they don't get tired in DBZ. Or if I did, it's not what I meant. I meant in reality it has little effect, because somehow, even if they are exhausted, they still get the energy to win.
Edit: Unless they are Piccolo, Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, or really, any character that isn't a Saiyan, and thus, not important enough.
Gohan is fighting Vegeta BEFORE Vegeta gets hit by the Genki Dama. At the time Gohan is fighting Vegeta, Krillin is getting the Genki Dama from Goku.
My point in bringing up 17 - and in all those - was to show that long term stamina does have an effect on several fights.
If your argument is that the False Moon's stamina drain shouldn't matter because it's all just done for dramatic purposes anyway, then we should logically remove the PP cost of any PP moves, and transformations, too.

My point is that those things in DBZ that make people sweat, while they are draining, are simply for drama. When I roleplay my energy beams my character sweats, but it says nowhere in the description that my energy beamz are draining.
I forgot about Gohan being before, however. But aren't Saiyans usually simply weakened from reverting from Oozaru?
I mean, Goku and Gohan always fell asleep, for instance.
My point, once again, is it is simply flavor. As for removing PP, this is Chubbs, not dbz. There is a huge difference between the two of them. PP is there for a balance, so that way someone isn't going SSJ constantly or using hax moves as if they were candy. It's a balance, and I never use it in character, personally.

I'm not really disagreeing with that assertion, mind, because I've come to realize the pretense to 'balance' here is a load of horseshit anyway.

True.
What I mean is, yeah, if your charge a ultimate ki blast cannon destruction beam, sure, it's most likely draining. But even a normal ki blast, if you want it to be, could be roleplayed as a draining attack for your character at the moment, even if it's not at other times. Also, most likely, you could throw "this kamehameha beam attack drains the user greatly when used", and most likely, it won't change the fact that it costs 15 xp to learn.

Keep into consideration that Goku and Gohan didn't have Ooasru trained. Vegeta didn't faint when his tail was cut, because he had it trained. They proved that in the Bardock movie early on.

Planet Vegeta's gravity was far more massive than Earth's. As a result its atmosphere extended out to a much farther range. While it appeared that the battle was happening it space it was actually occuring in the ozone layer where the air is merely toxic. Not non-existant.

To be fair, my assertion that Vegeta didn't tire from making the false moon comes from the anime, in which... he, in fact, y'know, didn't tire from making the false moon.
So, yeah. If the manga says otherwise, that's all well and good, but then the two medias are contradicting one another. In all honesty, I wouldn't care which way we went on it, but right now, you can assume a false moon isn't tiring

Sorry, but that's wrong. Check out 18:45-19:45 of the episode in question.
Same in Dragonball Kai, 12:36-14:30. (This is the better representation IMO, because Dragonball Kai is fucking awesome.)

If you were indifferent, you'll probably still like it because of the quick pacing.

I came off bashing it and I didn't mean to. I'll most likely own the English version just so I can see some of the best fights in the show redone and or remastered. I'll just never stop enjoying the filler. Makes me laugh to this day.

I kind of agree. I don't mind most of the filler content... but I absolutely hate the obscenely long pauses in fights where they stare at each other just to lengthen the episode.
Take the Piccolo vs. second form Frieza fight. In the original, it's almost boring. In Kai, it's pretty fuckawesome. Can't wait to see how the Cell Saga shapes up.
