Red Dead Redemption - Rem-13 - 06-01-2010 Its like, super good. Not just the gameplay (which is fun but not spectacular) or story (pretty generic so far), but the feel of the wild west and the great characters that inhabit it. Great voice acting. I'm only a five or so hours in, but I'm very impressed. I really like GTAIV too, which it plays alot like, so that was a given. A good example of 'greater than the sum of its parts'. I haven't done any multiplayer yet. Red Dead Redemption - Tyr - 06-01-2010 This is Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. IN THE WILD WEST. Red Dead Redemption - Rem-13 - 06-01-2010 Hogtieing every single person in Armadillo was more fun than setting off a 20 car chain explosion in GTA. I'm still trying to figure out how thats possible. Red Dead Redemption - Carter - 06-01-2010 Th lasso is the single greatest weapon ever placed in a GTA series game, period. I love how random tasks just happen while you out in the world like, "Hey mister, they're about to hang my friend, come quick!" or "Hey, he just stole my horse!" Amazing how they have done that. Red Dead Redemption - Super Buu - 06-01-2010 Agreed on the 'greater than the sum of its parts'. The fun's in the variety of things to do. Multiplayer is great for a bit of dumb fun, though it gets boring pretty quick. Dynamite fights are fun. Red Dead Redemption - Rem-13 - 06-02-2010 OKay, so why is it when people go apeshit when I walk into a town (I don't know why, random gang, drunk idiots, glitch?) and start shooting at me, I get in trouble for shooting back? Why do I have to hide like a pussy for ten minutes until they leave? Red Dead Redemption - Carter - 06-03-2010 Either you have a bounty up already or you aren't actually shooting at the people shooting at you. You are, by accident, shooting at cops that are shooting at the people shooting at you. Red Dead Redemption - Sage - 06-03-2010 I loved this game. Beat it. The multiplayer's awesome, too, but only if you have friends online to make a posse. Otherwise, pretty gay. The ending was very good, but totally pissed me off. Why do I have to hide like a pussy for ten minutes until they leave? I've had this twice so far. It first happened on my first mission into Armadillo to buy medicine, ffs. One guy decided to open fire unprovoked, I ignored him until I returned but decided to shoot back. Then everyone wanted me dead. I've been playing the good guy, so it wasn't a bounty or whatever. Red Dead Redemption - Super Buu - 06-03-2010 Happened to me too, irritating. Lawmen be corrupt'r than a molfucka. Red Dead Redemption - Kami - 06-08-2010 IT'S NOT A GTA GAME rawwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrr (stylistically...maybe...yes) Yeah this is awesome. Lassoing people, riding horses and shooting outlaws. Knifing bears and shooting birds out in the desert never gets old. EVER. Red Dead Redemption - Kole T. Merr - 06-08-2010 I was a little skeptical at first as to whether or not I would enjoy it. But riding around in the desert shooting armadillos is great fun. I managed to get that legendary wolf. Solo. Red Dead Redemption - Kami - 06-09-2010 I killed all the legendary animals solo so =P Red Dead Redemption - Sage - 06-09-2010 Kami Wrote:IT'S NOT A GTA GAME rawwwwwwwwwrrrrrrrrr No, it's GTH. Red Dead Redemption - Kole T. Merr - 06-09-2010 Waff and I just had a blast griefing someone online. He spawned directly in front of us every time we killed him. We must have killed him like 15 times between the two of us before he finally left the session. One is one instanteous 'boom', while the other is watching a toy soldier slowly become flash fried into a pool of goop. Basically, you get to watch the humiliation first hand as opposed to just seeing the after affects... Red Dead Redemption - Juno - 06-18-2010 So, this game is beast. The voice acting's some of the best ever, on par with [the supporting characters from] Mass Effect and Final Fantasy 13. Awesome stuff. Red Dead Redemption - Kole T. Merr - 06-23-2010 Free Multiplayer DLC came out yesterday on PSN. Lemme know if you wanna play it sometime tonight. I'll be either dicking around on the internet, getting pizza, eating pizza, or playing inFamous. Red Dead Redemption - Orion - 06-24-2010 Get on LoL instead, fag. |
