Also, I was wondering if the forms that Frieza moved through were the standard. I've assumed so thus far...

From a Chubbs standpoint, I believe that Frost Planet #213 is the official stronghold of the changeling empire, although they maintain imperial-style outposts on other, more arbitrary planets across the Northern Galaxy.

There is no official changeling homeworld, no. As Trafford said, the only planet owned by Frost in the known galaxy is Frost #213.
You are free to make up the transformations. They don't have to follow the blueprints of Frieza.
