Jarka and her two older brothers were raised in a suburb just outside of Central City by their parents, a psychologist and a correctional officer. Despite her family’s grim outlook on the state of humanity, Jarka maintains an impeccably cheery disposition. She will try to find the bright side of any situation and tends to judge people by their potential for goodness.
General Description:
Jarka stands at an impressive 5 feet 3 inches with a solid frame. Although she would never say how much she weighs, it is likely to be between 135 and 155 lbs. She has shoulder length auburn hair that is either wavy or curly, depending on humidity. Her hazel eyes are occasionally enhanced with half-rim eyeglasses. She tends to wear brightly colored skirts and blouses paired with matching headbands, bandanas, or barrettes. It is rare to see her without a smile.

Three… two… one…
When the timer hit zero, a loud beeping permeated the room. In one fluid motion, Jarka slid the potholder into her hand and glided to the oven. She hummed a nameless melody throughout her culinary choreography with flourishes accompanying each reveal: garlic marinated chicken cutlets, buttermilk biscuits, green bean casserole, and quartered red potatoes. Each item was arranged meticulously around the centerpiece of the dining room table to await the arrival of her fiancée for supper. Jarka settled into a chair and folded her hands together, her eyes preening over the completed work. After a moment, she adjusted the utensils next to her fiancée’s plate by a millimeter that would certainly make all the difference before refolding her hands and relaxing, satisfied with her display.
Jarka was jolted awake by the slamming door. The rich aroma of a warm dinner had turned cold: the neglect stung her nostrils. She jumped to her feet, almost knocking her chair to the ground before shuffling around the table. Her fiancée bore an aura of whiskey and cigarettes as he stumbled in her direction.
“You’re late,” Jarka admonished, “again.” The fiancée brushed past her and dropped into his seat. She paused before settling opposite him. A tense silence grew, interrupted by the clinking of fumbled silverware as the fiancée filled his plate. He raised a piece of chicken to his mouth. The meat was gummed twice before his eyes rolled up to focus on Jarka.
“It’s cold,” he growled before spitting the moistened chicken onto his plate.
Jarka pursed her lips, “It was warm five hours ago, Anko.”
His scowl was matched only by her forced smile. He gripped the edge of his plate between his thumb and forefinger. Smirking, he flipped the plate, the hearty servings splaying across the tablecloth and onto the floor. Jarka inhaled sharply, her wide eyes darting between the soiled tablecloth and her indignant fiancée.
She stood up, straightened her skirt, and tucked her hair behind her ears.

Also, I accidentally mistyped her last name in the body of my post - darn Y key! If it's at all possible, can it be respelled as Veselyova on the roster? I'm sorry for being a pain.
