GameHuddle - Waffuru - 03-18-2011 https://www.gamehuddle.com/ Anyone heard of or tried this before? It's a pretty cool idea. Works like Gamefly but you send them games and they rent them out. You can cash out the money your rentals earn (up to $10 a month per game) or use it to rent games from other members. GameHuddle - Vad - 03-18-2011 Interesting. GameHuddle - Waffuru - 03-18-2011 And games are "100% guaranteed to be returned in good, working condition." The only problem I can foresee is if I don't buy enough new games to have anything they want to rent out. New releases are going to be worth way more and the stuff I'm done playing is probably not going to be worth very much or enough to cover my rentals. Hm... I might try it out though, it sounds like a pretty good idea. GameHuddle - Vad - 03-18-2011 Waffuru Wrote:And games are "100% guaranteed to be returned in good, working condition." That's just what I was thinking. It would require a steady inflow of new games on your part to create any sort of profit. GameHuddle - Waffuru - 03-19-2011 Yeah, I think the idea is to be able to rent for free by allowing people to rent your games. Like how you used to let your buddies borrow your Nintendo carts because you would get to borrow a game from them at some point. It seems like the perfect scenario to jump some contract fee onto you. |
