It seemed as though nothing exciting would happen that day. Suspicions were held, but it wasn't enough. Some were glad. Others were not. Others wanted to see death.
Nobody was sure how it happened, but slowly the vibe of the crowd began to change.
"We should kill John Doe!" someone shouted.
"Yeah!" replied someone else.
Before they knew it, the crowd had been worked up into a frenzy. "This is bullshit," said John Doe as they carried him to the noose. "I knew this was going to happen."
His neck went into the noose. "Fuck you guys." he spat.
Crack!
John Doe is dead. He was the Godfather, a mafia immune to investigation.
Day 1 Night phase has begun. Please send me your actions now.

There mus have been some kind of special role which can lynch someone without majority.

Maybe because of the new phase rule, it's just majority rules no matter but always overrules an uncomplete lynch vote?

That's possible, but there were 9/18 votes of No Lynch, and there were also more that didn't vote (which defaults to No Lynch). So I guess its kind of cool that we only have to get three people to vote to get a guaranteed Lynch each time, since that helps us get through this faster, but I'm pretty confused as to why. My understanding of this game just had a tidal miscommunication that I can't explain.
