With every lynch, the townspeople grew more confident in Piper's theory. On the fourth morning, they awoke with a target already in mind. Rem.
He didn't turn up to the meeting. No surprise there. So the townspeople went to his house; and he answered the door, smiling widely. He was wearing a three-piece suit, and in his hand was a pistol.
Piper and Vad drew. "Drop the weapon!" shouted Vad, the sheriff.
But Rem just smiled as he pointed the gun at his head. "Good game," he said. Then he blew his brains out.
Rem-13 was the Mafia Agent. The townspeople win!
