League of Replays - John Doe - 06-16-2011

I usually record every game that I play, so I'll make a habit of uploading them here when we do scrim or tourney or ladder or just slightly srs practice. I prefer to use Megaupload so sucks to your assmar if you don't like it. Big Grin

League of Replays - John Doe - 06-16-2011

Here's a pair of games we played in Normal a few minutes ago. Both were just slightly srs practice games together.

The first game had a slow start, both top and bot having trouble with our lanes. Luckily, we were able to pull through and use our team comp's high mobility to displace them in team fights. Kaden was Corki, Teemer was Malphite, Tryg was jungle Lee Sin, Jarka was Oriana, and I was Singed.

The second game was a bit of a streamroll, though I'll put it here so we can see how jungle works and how it was used effectively. Kaden was Ashe, Teemer was Cho'Gath, Tryg was jungle Jarvan, Jarka was Alistar, and I was Malzahar.

Second Game: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RYUDBC01

These replays won't have our talking in Mumble so our in-game chat will be pretty nonexistent.

Alright we did that scrim yesterday and I think it was helpful (if not a bit demoralizing) to have played it. There's a lot we can learn from that game so I'll put the replay here. I haven't had a chance to rewatch it, but from memory I think our biggest problems were positioning and initiation. Pay close attention to where everyone is once a team fight starts.

Initiation was part of our problem, definitely. Almost every team fight started with an Ashe arrow. Not even exaggerating.

The other problem was the champs we had people playing. Instead of pushing for Cho'Gath I should have just said "yeah, Teemer play Amumu." Beyond that, they just had better coordination in the way they moved around the map and ganked.

I lagged through most of the team fights.

Our second scrim match against Green Asian Yamaha. Basically the opposite of what happened last time. POWNION was their team's me.

Wards won that game. Everyone bought and correctly placed wards that entire game. Nunu wasn't able to jungle with so many wards and CV, and in many of his ganks he instead actually got killed himself.

Not to mention a lack of MR against a rather fed Annie. Their Caitlyn was a ton of damage but she wasn't able to really do much with it considering how fast she melted (lol cuz annie).

Lots of good Ashe arrows to contribute nicely even with no kills or farm (fucking Caitlyn range) and awesome use of pings. Even with no voice in the replay I mostly knew what was going on.

Cho top was solid, though you did push past river too far with no wards and that was what led to giving up the FB.

Nunu got out jungled, starting with no wraith steal and then leading to feeding Nocturne/Annie because of all the sight. I think he was afraid to be in his own jungle after about 14 minutes.

All around nicely played, Krig MVP for destroying the Anivia (and then everyone else).

I've got to give mad creds to Kaden for landing the arrow that let me kill her the first time. Getting ahead as Annie is key to going on a rampage and I needed the stun there to effectively kill Anivia twice.

Quadra kill = great way to cap off a game.
