Zenkai Battle Royale - Mza - 02-16-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fC4Lc4VXCoI Zenkai Battle Royale - Kaden - 02-16-2012 That reminds me of the Bid for Power mod for Quake 3, which was epic and a lot of fun. Unless someone was playing Yamcha. Talk about broken. Giant multiplayer DBZ fights sound sweet, though. Zenkai Battle Royale - Vad - 02-17-2012 It's an arcade game in Japan D: Arcade as in you go to Chuckie Cheez to play it. Zenkai Battle Royale - Super Buu - 02-17-2012 Wikipedia gave me no info on the game except what Vad said and the fact that apparently it's still played online against other players despite being arcade-only. Which sucks because it basically looked like they finally did a Budokai Tenkaichi game mixed with the Smash Bros aspect of having more than two people fighting. And apparently that the online software is called GGPO which stands for Good Game Peace Out. lol Zenkai Battle Royale - Kaden - 02-17-2012 A better comparison would be to Power Stone, I think. A lot of arcades in Japan are linked online so you can roll up to, say, Street Fighter, and have someone to play against. Zenkai Battle Royale - Super Buu - 02-17-2012 I never played Power Stone. Ah, if only I'd had a job back in the Dreamcast days. Zenkai Battle Royale - Anzekay - 02-17-2012 I saw a bunch of DBZ fighting arcade games in Akihabara last weekend, the places were packed too so there was a lot of games to watch. Zenkai Battle Royale - Anzekay - 02-18-2012 Well we went to this store in Akihabara that was full of old retro gaming stuff. Pretty much any console or old portable gaming system you can think of that was released in Japan, they had it and games for it and peripherials for it. The top floor, though, was a big arcade with all these oldschool arcade games set up in extremely good condition. They had old pacman and space invader arcades there! But over in one corner of the fighting games section they had one of the original Dragon Ball Z arcade game, Super Dragon Ball Z and W Bakuretsu Impact which is one of the more recent ones (or so I was told). There was quite a few people there watching some guys play on them, and it was a lot of fun watching them as they were really good. Another acrade had a couple of what I believe was Zenkai Battle Royale, and they were pretty packed as well. |
