Are there particular perks to specializing in one sort of spell-casting. For my character personally, I'm tunnel-visioning for Ink casting mastery. Wondering if there are any perks, or maybe even suggesting the implementation of perks for specialization.

I think "specialists" will be appropriately compensated. I played around with a couple different perk systems, but ultimately just worked similar ideas into the core mechanics.

So like, me and Krig have just discussed about this concern. We would have our characters created already, but we really don't have a feel for the culture of Anyria and therefore cannot think of a name that could fit any sort of context. Are there any sample names we could build off on that's not Bill Yen?

There are some names in the Chronicles forum. Athran, Camden, Alanyia, Balron, Tannis, Felnar, etc.

Yeah, there are last names.
Sorry, I thought it was assumed that, with the exception of Darus, all the named characters had the last name D'Elmont.

Aside from the elemental magical powers, are there any power ups for physical attributes? Can you say, use magic crystal on your shoes to make you jump higher, or if I have ink inscribed on my self I can become physically stronger?
