Anybody here use it?
I wouldn't say that I've mastered Photoshop but I do believe I've become familiar with it. I was hoping to try something new. Anyone know if it's any good?
I know that I could just as easily google but random people's opinions aren't the same as Chubbsian opinions.

I've been fairly successful using Gimp. However, it's not going to be as powerful as Photoshop.
Advantage: it's FREE AS FUCK

The thing is I have Photoshop on my desktop [W7] but my laptop is running Ubuntu now so I was curious about it but if you guys say PS is the way to go then I'll take your word for it, lol. I opened it up earlier and didn't have a clue what was going on. Thanks guys.

Seriously, Photoshop is an immensely powerful tool with huge funding.
GIMP is ambitious and run by good people but there's no comparison.
