Introductions - Krillin - 01-26-2005 As I said in another thread, I don't know many of you that well, and I assume most of you don't know me. So, what better way to guide this Team along than simple Introductions? My name is Chris, I'm fifteen years old, and I live in America. I love to write and play music, though I love to learn as well. My ambitions in life are to eventually be a professor of theology, and write books. I enjoy long walks on the beach and candlelit dinners. And there you have it. My life in a nutshell. What about the rest of you? Introductions - Ruhiel - 01-26-2005 Wow, this is... ironic. I'm also Chris. I'm from America, and I'm 15 too. I'm a competitive swimmer, and I am planning on becoming either a genetics engineer or a nanotechnology researcher, to help find a cure for cancer, considering how many family members that disease has taken. I don't know what I really "enjoy" except I like talking a lot to people I know well. I'm pretty quiet around other people though. Erm, and I want to see the Eagles upset the Patriots, as farfetched as that sounds. =P Introductions - Tobias - 01-26-2005 Hmmm... sounds like fun. The names Tim. I live in Pennsylvania, USA, and I have never been beyond the borders of that state. Ironic because one of my desires is to travel, go see the rest of the US... maybe a little of Europe. I plan on becoming a Psycologist and one day take over the world. Australia's first, thier Kangaroo's will make a mighty army. Introductions - Krillin - 01-26-2005 Ah, I like a good game of Poker. I never gamble for money, but I love to play Texas Hold'em against friends. It's actually a good deal more strategic than people think (though it still comes down the the deal of the cards. Even the best players can still lose). The reason I find it more satisfying than Chess is because it is more cutthroat. Chess is still dear to my heart, however. So, what style Poker do you play? Introductions - Ruhiel - 01-26-2005 Anyone play Cincinatti Twist Poker? Not too competitive, but it's completely impossible to cheat in that game. Oh yeah, poker story: I once won a hand going all-in blind and won. Problem was, I only had 5 chips left, so I got like, nuthin. Introductions - Krillin - 01-26-2005 Cincinnatti Twist? Never heard of it. Yes, Lord Slug, situations like those are great...if you happen to be the one to get them. Alas, I've yet to see such a situation, and I tend to be on the receiving end of such. I'm just building up so much unluckiness, that one day I won't be able to help but win. If only luck were fair. Introductions - Toshiro - 01-26-2005 O.O Name: David (Dave) Age: No comment =X Hobbies: GF, not being at work, looking over this place for any action (perves..) & chilling infront of a good game. Poker: Never played it before O.O Introductions - Hellfighter 17 - 01-26-2005 My name is Mike and I live in Sask. Canada, so I am the only Canadian so far =( I like writing, chess, video games, the odd song and a few people. I am not exactly sure what I want to do with my life at the age of 14, but I might go into Engineering, but I have considered MANY other choices. I even have a idea for a movie and/or novel =p EDIT: Quote:Originally posted by Hell Fighter 17Is it just me, or did that sound like the beginning of an AA meeting o.0 |
