On Evo, we had a side RPG for a short time. The theme was Super Smash Bros. which included all Nintendo or any other characters, but the characters musnt have been too serious like for example Constantine or Van Helsing. I liked it, but they quit it soon enough for a FF Side RPG. Now........who wants to have Super Smash Bros. here on Chubbs? If yes, I have a character reserved for myself.

Good idea, but it wouldn't work. There aren't enough playable characters in SSB or SSBM to really constitute an rpg. That is, unless you allow ALL video game characters. If that happened, heck, I might even join O.O. I'd be the farmer from Harvest Moon. Beware my terrible backhoe of destruction!

Yeah... now that I think about it, I agree with Furiza. What could you roleplay about? Beating the crap out of people endlessly, and then knocking them away and watch them blow up or something? If you could figure out how to make it more interesting, it could work, but otherwise, Furiza is right.

Ok look, imagine a DBZ fight. In it two use ki attacks and punches to bring each other down. One prevails, all fine and good.
Now imagine a SSB fight where Donkey Kong meets the guy from Metroid Zero (sp?). Do you still have the same fight?
And we would allow characters from ALL games, except too serious ones liek for example Gordon Freeman who I originaly wanted to be.

The Naruto board was more of a joke than anything else. If a Naruto RPG were ever to be made with any remote connection to CDBZ, it would be its own RPG, not a side-project.

Naruto, meh, not really going to talk much about it. Still working on that. That's if it happens.
Regardless, if you guys wanted to create your own "side rpg" deal, and contain it within a thread, we could make a sort [Official Super Mario RPG] thread or something, but it would be contained within that thread in terms of all the info and such. At the very very most (which most likely wouldn't happen) we'd be willing to make one forum for all of the various side deals you guys want to run (as this is a community that likes to work together) and we'd give the guy running it mod abilities for that one specific place so that they can edit the posts for their own roster and all, but the staff is not going to help with it in any way.
Think along the lines of what Burter did with his Survivor deal and you'll get the idea.
