The Amityville Horror - Sammah - 05-24-2005

Went and saw the movie, i thought it was good, scared me shitless. And no, i would never go there, or research more information about it either...i don't play with that type of shit.

Only cause your boom boom stick don't work on ghosts o.O

But seriously I saw the movie twice with my girl, shit don't scare me much, but that movie came damn near close -_-

The Amityville Horror - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 05-24-2005

I didn't see the movie because reviews gave it like 0/100 which is bad.

The Amityville Horror - Burter - 05-24-2005

The first movie was badass.

Bad movie review almost always means good movie.

Good movie review almost always means bad movie.

EDIT: Generally speaking. Never watched The Amityville Horror as I'm not a fan of horror flicks. w/e

While Bra has the general idea, horror movies tend to be the opposite of that idea. Bad horror views often mean a bad horror movie. Good reviews often mean its an awesome, cutting-edge terror-fest.

The gory-meter follows about the same way.

True gore and horror is having some one degutted and eatten alive in front of the camera...

That reminds me of "Cube". Get to see some guy cut in to tiny cubes & some other gross shit.

Yeah... you're probably right, though I'll still deny it to the death. <.<

True gore and horror is your FACE.

That was way too irresistible.

I haven't seen the movie. I think the only horror movie I've seen in theatres was The Ring.

Oh snap! Pan just got Toma good!

I don't like horror movies. I don't know why people want to go to a movie theater to watch a movie that will scare them shitless, give them nightmares that night, and possibly shorten their life span by putting that much strain on their heart.
The only reason I could think of why horror movies are still around is because if you go there with a girl, they usually freak out long before you do, and grab onto you in the movies.

The Ring scared me so much... probably because I always could expect when something freaky was about to happen, and it did.

The Amityville Horror - Hellfighter 17 - 05-25-2005

People go to it because when you become scared adrenaline is rushed throughout your body, and with that some form of hormone which makes you happy, I believe.

The Amityville Horror - Hellfighter 17 - 05-25-2005

I haven't seen It, yet, but I want to. I may have arachnophobia as well, but it seems liek a good movie.

Yea, The Ring wasn't scary at'll. I think I am pretty desensitized from horror movies as I've been watching them since I was like five years old. The thing that scares me the most (as far as regular fears go, I have greater fears, but those are more profound and emotional and such) are bugs in my house. They can outside for all I care, but when they are inside they freak the hell out o' me.

I want to see Saw, sometime, I hear it's brilliant. I just need to mooch a Blockbuster's card off of somebody.
