And it's true, if some one thinks their gonna fail, they will. I know, becuase I thought I was gonna fail my exams, I did.
A person's mental out look determines ever thing. If they know they are gonna pass the exam, they will. If they think they won't, they won't. It's the same in a fight, none of it is based on physical strength most of the time, if a person thinks their stronger then the other, then they are.

It is certain to me that mental determination and self-confidence can raise the chances of completing a task, but there are too many variables in life to just say something for certain, so your last statement mixed with one of your previous is pretty much how I think.
