look take it from a guy who has been around the block more times then he can count. It is rather stupid and really selfish to ask a girl who has just recently been dumped out on a date, you should instead be trying to comfort her and be a friend, and then go from there...
Plus relationships off of a rebound don't turn out to well.
EDIT: Plus if she is your best friend...you also got to worry about ruining your friendship if things don't work out...it's up to you dude...good luck.

Ok, don't listen to Cell. Seriously.
First off, good start, if you two are best friends like that, you have a plus. But you have a couple problems.
1. Sometimes girls just want to keep that best friend for fear of losing them.
2. She wont want a guy for maybe a week/2 depending on who she is
But when you are best friends with a girl, sometimes it's harder for some reason. You need to support her in any decision she makes and respect it, even if it's about other guys and hurts you, you have to be able to talk to her about it. Going for the rebound is hardest sometimes, just remain friend but until I know more information it's harder for me to help. Also, if I were to know who personally, or know more about her, I could predict anything she was going to do. I'm serious, I'm like magic.

whoa whoa whoa ur in 11th grade.... since 1st grade. uve liked this girl for 10 years?! That's borderline stalking/ definetely obsession freaky shit. Bad relationships suck, and good ones rule. Me and Tap help each other with girls on AIM, so Drop a IM to either of us. Since im to lazy to type alot. dont just go flirting on her a ton though, be really nice and comforting and like make her feel like she is the most perfect girl in the world. Then it can be something special, if u dont make her feel like she is amazing it is a bad relationship, and like Krillin says it will suck. But i have had plenty good relationships, they just take effort and depending on how much ur willing to put in, u will see better and better results. and Don't listen to Choa either. for starters, if shes ur best friend dont just go ask her out then she'll think "omg he was just friends with me so he could fuck me later.. !!!111!!!" and she wont think she's special, and for seconds, Girls do take alot of money, if u get stuck in a bad relationship u can be sapped. But if u care about a girl a ton then taking her out to dinner is no biggy. Just make her feel Perfect. and Disregard Choa, he is a hopless romantic and the only shit he gets is from sluts, u can tell from his posts. If he has to get some play to spend a lil dough on his girls, they either hooka's or hoes.
Take my advice wisely, and Tapions, and Uub's and Krillin's (for a part of it). And this is a rare asylum appearance for me, so listen wisely. and if u need more advice IM me at Zak8008, cuz i dont come to this forum often.

First off, NEVER bring any sort of physical contact in with your beginning stages. Girls, at least the ones I know, have a tendancy to catch this right off the bat and start talking saying how "<insert name here> keeps trying to hug me and stuff." If anything try acting polite and stuff. Chivalry may be dead but that's no reason to treat any girl wrongly, hold each with respect... If she chooses to talk to you, you should feel honored that she has even decided to give you a place in her life. Pick up on little things she does, the way she talks, walks, communicates and find things that you like about each of them. Make sure they feel comfortable in any setting, always place her before yourself in EVERY instance. You have a chance to blow shit up with buds the same time you could spend some time with her? You better damn well pick her over them. The little words "Bros before Hoes" won't work in this, you wanna get with your buds or this girl? At random buy her things that may seem useless in your eyes... hell, some of the time I actually sat down and made something for a girl I was interested in. Quickly let's review.
1. No physical contact unless asked or at the right moment.
2. As much respect to her as possible.
3. Comment on the little things you like about her.
4. Make her as comfortable as possible around you.
5. Never blow her off in any case.
6. Make/buy her things randomly.
Most of all, be yourself... you're mostm likely going to be spending a lot of time around her and if you put on some kind of act that you won't be able to keep strait then she'll suspect something bad. Even when around your friends (Guys-friends especially) don't change how you act with her, hopefully she'll pick up that you're serious about being with her and that you'd never change even in public with her.
