Strategy Games - Tobias - 10-01-2005 Rome: Total War Strategy Games - Raz - 10-01-2005 I can't wait for B&W2, from what I've seen so far it's going to be worth the wait. Strategy Games - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 10-01-2005 TEW05, TEW04 R: TW M: TW/Exp. (Viking Invasion) ROTK Strategy Games - Bra - 10-01-2005 StarCraft still rocks. You can't deny it. =\ Strategy Games - Amadeus - 10-01-2005 Dont forget Age of Empires 3 and Dawn of War: Winter Assault Strategy Games - Piccolo Daimoun - 10-01-2005 I have to agree with 13. WC3 is awesome, especially if you like the custom maps. They are constantly coming out, and are really cool. They even made a bunch of awesome DBZ ones. Strategy Games - Android 17 - 10-01-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Piccolo Daimaou Warcraft 3 is awesome. DBZ Tribute is the most fun I can get out of a custom map. But I can't wait for Black and White 2, it looks very interesting, and the original is one of my favorite computer games. Strategy Games - Piccolo Daimoun - 10-01-2005 I can't remember what its called but...the FF map where it was more based on teamwork, and looked and felt like the very first few FF games. Oh and supreme owned...cept I collected the dballs, and wished for the earrings...and didn't get them!!! lol.
Strategy Games - Raditzu - 10-01-2005 I'm going through a Dawn of War kick at the moment. Don't know how many other people played it, but its a nice twist on the standard RTS thang. Also, I don't know who else is remotely knowledgable on the subject, but I think it does the old table-top game justice. Strategy Games - Orion - 10-02-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Bra They left us hanging after Broodwar. =( Strategy Games - Bra - 10-02-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Goku Well... yea... but, I mean, it wasn't hard to figure out what would happen. The Zerg, by virtue of being far more awesome than everyone else, conquer the universe. There you go. Hope I didn't spoil any potential sequels. Strategy Games - Android 17 - 10-02-2005 Won't the sequel (if there ever is one ) be about the Protoss/Zerg hybrids from the secret mission?
Strategy Games - Orion - 10-02-2005 Sure, but they should've made another game. I want to know about the protoss/zerg hybrids. I need closure! *huddles in corner* Strategy Games - Bra - 10-02-2005 Uh... don't you guys remember the story? The Zerg and Protoss were both created at the same source, by the Xel'Naga. They were destined to reunite eventually. =\ Thus, proving my point. Be they called 'Zerg', or 'Zertoss' or 'Proterg' or 'Awesome', they're still gonna run around and take over all of existence. By killing it. <.< Strategy Games - Piccolo Daimoun - 10-02-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Nappa Yeah, that map was awesome, unless you were Goku or tien, in which case you barely played at the beginning. Strategy Games - Amadeus - 10-02-2005 Im currently playing Red Alert (yeah the original ) and Frozen Throne from strategies.
Strategy Games - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 10-03-2005 Quote:Originally posted by Marron Medieval: Total War with the expansion Viking Invasion. Rome: Total War is the next one and is better. WC3: TFT is fun when I had it, I still have it but the computer I had sucked so I couldn't play it and I can't play on this computer because it's not mine. And StarCraft 2 will come out later on but they are too busy being prick licks with each other while in the money they make from WoW, they don't want to. They were thinking about making it in first person, as well...o_O Strategy Games - Ruhiel - 10-03-2005 Like many others have said: Starcraft You just can't beat it. It's the daddy of all strategy games. And I thought that the single person game they were making was Starcraft: Ghost, Tapion? Or is that really going to be the final part of the SC trilogy? Strategy Games - The Not Cool Not Tapion - 10-03-2005 I think you might be right on Ghost being the FPS, but I thought Ghost was just another expansion and therefor SC2 would be the FPS because if it was expansion it would be very difficult to put everything together... Strategy Games - Amadeus - 10-03-2005 Nope, Ghost is the Sub-title of the new Starcraft and its a FPS. However, they have delayed its release for a LONG time, but I think the revolution that DOOM 3 and Half-Life 2 brought had something to do with it. No, Starcraft is not the daddy of all strategy games, allthough it is true it belongs to an older generation. |
