Katel has Bardock into the forest, where Yamu and BJ stumbled into. Meanwhile, Hell Fighter 17 is also stumbling in that direction.

Be care what you do...the forest has many secrets.

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Hellfighter 17 - 10-22-2005

The light beamed through like a flashing digital clock illuminating the unlit room of an insomniac. The flash was not all too instant, but the android had been walking quite absent-mindedly, and thus his retina were suddenly bombarded by a platoon of the moon?s reflections, though his robotic innards helped his sight adjust so that the light intake would not cause him anymore discomfort.

His footsteps stopped momentarily, pebbles of gravel kicking from underneath his shoes. The synthetic face contorted to sudden bursts of sounds that were being emitted. A few pebbles fell from above, ricocheting down the wiry walls of the cave before they met together at the edge of Seventeen?s stance. He turned his head in confusion; looking back towards where he had recently walked from. ?Huh.? The circumstance was bewildering, but he did not change the composure of his emotions. There was merely the look of confusion controlling his face, but other than that, there were mostly placid expressions throughout him and his body did not flinch to the newest happenings. Smoke began to collapse to the ground, descending due to gravity pulling on it.

Larger rocks began their descent towards the human-like creature, but the ones that had come relatively close were still off by a few feet, and caused the apathetic robot no form of flinching. As Seventeen stood, looking back at the mess that was beginning to form, he could here more noises from above, and slowly teetered his head upwards, but was drawn back to the falling dust and debris. It soon began to pick up its pace, and the emotionless android simply stared on bewilderment. Soon enough, the ceiling of the cavern had collapsed, and was now tumbling towards the hell fighter?s general vicinity.

Seventeen?s stature stayed calm and collected as his face started to fill with the grime that was carried alongside the dust. The dust itself even was having its way with the backside of the hell fighter, patching up any unpleasant holes that may have dotted his clothing along with giving it a protective barrier of granule that could most likely deflect the wildest of dust mites.

The cave-in was happening at an amazing rate?nearly all of the stones that could fall had descended to their resting place at the bottom. A large collection of the condensed pebbles began to form several feet away from the humanoid, leaving him to be on the side that still held the exit. As the rocks continued to fall, a large barrier had presented itself, and after examining it thoroughly, Seventeen decided that it would not be worth the risk the complete collapse of the cave. This, the humanoid pondered for a moment, not showing too much grievances for his comrades, though the loss of Uub as a partner was slightly menacing, he would most likely find the bronzed fighter again. After the contemplation was complete, and Seventeen clutched the map tightly within his left palm, he sat down for a moment.

With a soft sigh, he went from his standing position to that of supporting himself on a rather uncomfortable rock. Trapped outside unable to get inside, his mind began. Just perfect. Well, I guess I should take off somewhere else then, signs of dusk began appearing, there was nearly three fighters. Besides, his position went back to standing and his face showed more emotion than it had whilst stone was falling mere inches from his face, I don?t need to play this man?s game. The android had been manipulated multiple times before, and it usually ended in death, but he had decided that this time would differ from the others. With the first spark of true confidence appearing once again in the android he took off to the skies, unaware that his team was but mere meters behind.

?I can?t make anything of this map,? Seventeen stated in confusion. ?I might as well just set down and walk from here; these barren lands look good enough to continue on foot.? The humanoid?s descent was quick and abrupt, though his mechanical innards still made slightly audible sounds as he dropped for the ground. Once his feet had touched the ground lightly and he rested more weight upon them, he began his pace towards the forest, which he had no idea of which he was traveling to.

The hell fighter began to kick up a storm of debris up from the ground, which swirled into a tornado-like cloud before it fell to the ground. This had become hypnotic for the android, having been doing it for nearly a half a dozen minutes, which was pretty long when you were bored. After his feet had confusedly attempted to kick up dust, dirt flew into the air, with grass spouting from the grime.

Immediately the robot stopped, now aware that he was standing on grass, and afterwards he began to look up for the first time in some while. To his amaze, there was a forest before him, and quite a large one at that.

The trees were differing hues of bright and dark green, showing that the vegetation was in its prime season at the time. The light of dusk that shone through the horizon illuminated the insides of the forest somewhat, but still left a lot unchecked. The boles were wide in diameter and just as proportionate when it came to the tree?s height, which was probably an average of forty feet, approximately. It was not a dense forest, there had been much space preserved between each of the grown saplings, but there could always be more room made. There didn?t appear to be all too many exotic plants that would be rare in the galaxy, but there were bushes that popped up in odd places. Seventeen had no intent on demolishing the greenery, but Brim would probably have something planned.

After admiring the view, the android began to step forward and entered his destination for the time being.

OOC: Cut short.

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Bardock - 10-22-2005

Before he knew it, the emerald beauty Katel had swiftly eluded the horde of undead. He felt her sensual heat leave his back, and he could feel her commanding body of energy leave. Was she trying to flee him? He quickly fended off the last of the grotesque figures that loomed before him before extinguishing the all-consuming flames of his hands. Whether she wanted to or not, she wasn?t going to deny him his vengeance, no matter what he had to do to?coerce?her into cooperation.

?Come back here!? he demanded roughly, keeping her perfect figure in sight.

?Follow me!? her voice drifted to his ears.

So she wasn?t running. Maybe she had decided to pursue his course. Good.

Masses of rotting flesh tried to bar their path, but the two boldly fended them off as they forced a hasty egress. A darker shade of green on Katel?s body began to move and flow, as some attachment sprang to life. Leaves swirled and danced in the air as they formed a cloud beneath her delicate feet. Since she herself could not fly, by summoning that with which clothed her, she could form a different yet effective alternative. Bardock cursed in his native tongue as he was forced to leap after the woman. He knew what this meant?he had to abandon his prince. It was a break or break decision, and he elected to choose the one more beneficial to him. The saiyan did not run as a coward, and thus, the shame would be not as great for leaving Vegeta in the fray. He wasn?t allowed much time for debate.

Katel and Bardock soon evaded the swarming bodies of corpses, and slipped into a dark hallway. Upon reaching the end, Katel hefted up a leg, and with a mighty kick, knocked the loose hinges from the wood that bound its screws. An orange disc cast a crimson light of dusk across the horizon, a luminescence that greeted their eyes warmly. Their journey was not yet over. Finally, the acrid stench of decay floated behind them to trouble their noses no more. Bardock could breathe without tasting sour bile at the back of his throat. Her sculpted legs moved swiftly and mechanically, her body nothing but a green blur before him. His own silhouette was that of black, attributed to the clothing he had donned. Jets of dust kicked up under their heels, and soon the market they had previously been resident to, was nothing more than a dark line against the horizon. A lush forest soon loomed before the pair.

It was beautiful, a true testament to graceful nature?s ability. Trees of many kinds sprouted here, but forty feet long and equally proportional to their diameter. A thick coat of vegetation and felled wood blanketed the surface. The path was a wide enough berth to admit several people across, but narrow enough for the plant life to function within close quarters. The canopy admitted rays of light to penetrate the protective umbrella, ensuring plentiful amounts of nutrition for the creations that relied upon it.

Katel halted her flight rather abruptly, and Bardock stopped just as quickly, his breath coming evenly. A deep feeling in the pit of the saiyan?s stomach triggered an alarm in the warrior-born?s brain: there were others here?two others, in fact, their energy signatures somewhat familiar. Unbeknownst to him, there was actually a third, one undetectable by mere ki of body alone.

The human?and?the kid! Bardock thought as his heart skipped a beat in surprise. His second chance had come sooner than anticipated, although it was not spurned.

?We?re going to have a little rendezvous before we continue any further,? Bardock stated, an edge of steel in his voice.

?Very well,? she agreed without complaint. It wouldn?t seem to hurt their present agenda. They began to walk at a rapid pace towards Burter Jr. and his human guardian, the many branches and foliage making flight difficult. Not that the woman would have been too capable, anyhow. A perceptible change had washed over Katel. It was as if a great calm had replaced any previous apprehension. She walked taller, exuded more strength. This was her element: nature augmented every aspect of her being. It was ironic. Bardock drew heavily upon the power of fire, an essence wrought of destruction. He was a bringer of death, she the hope of life. They were life and death, walking side by side towards a common goal. How fitting, opposites really did attract?however they might.

?You do realize, of course, what you are attempting to do?? she asked softly.

Bardock laughed. ?I?m not an idiot.?

The implications of his actions had to be obvious to anyone. To kill Kao, would mean to eventually face the retribution of Brim. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but woe betide to the one who invoked a father?s wrath. Brim would surely not take kindly to his son?s death. Bardock certainly wouldn?t if someone slew Kakarotto or, in the unlikely event, Raditzu. Nor would he be standing idle should anyone take a fist to Gohan, little Goten, or (it pained him to think of the name) Pan. Of course, Bardock knew they could easily fend for themselves, but it wasn?t the size of strength that mattered. He would also be surprised to see how much Goten had grown.

?Do you think you can fell them both??

?Don?t underestimate the power of a saiyan,? Bar scoffed, confidence raging through him, evidenced in his tone.

Their gait quickened to cover more ground. Bardock easily kept pace with Katel, staying close to her shoulder in case something was to unexpectedly overtake them in ambush.

?So, how do you plan to take me to Kao?? Bardock inquired, his voice somewhat less gruff than usual.

She seemed to hesitate before responding. It became painfully obvious that her social experience was that of an amateur. The irony was enough to send the black-haired bruiser into fits of laughter: her complete awkwardness, and his unwilling to make verbal contact half the time. Katel gave him an odd look when he burst into a fit of hilarity, not understanding this strange man?s entertainment one bit.

OOC: One, biotches.

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Yamu - 10-23-2005

?Yamu, why are we walking again?? BJ asked for the tenth time already in their journey to the mysterious watch tower that was still some distance ahead.

?We are keeping a low profile, the less other people know about what we are doing the bet?? The grotesque Earth-Jin began for the tenth time when a grey Bullet Bill from the old Mario games streaked passed, the force of his path sweeping the sun tanned gladiator and his young ward off their feet and onto their respective asses. ?What the FUCK was that!? Yamu yelled seriously pissed off at being dropped to his butt.

?Look up there!!!? Burter?s supremely strong son chanted pointing to two specs hundreds of feet into the sky.

?BJ, I need you to stay here?? He held up a hand to silence the protest he saw building in the child-warrior. ?Listen, I have no idea what?s about to go down and I need you watching my back. Just stay here and watch and if you see the signal,? Yamu rubbed his hand over his shiny head, ?You come running and to bale my ass out. Ok??

The Burter born gave a small nod of accession, not at all happy with being left out of the first action of the whole ?game?.

Yamu did not want to hurt his friend?s son?s feelings but Burter Jr.?s safety was more important. The Son of Earth took to the air mumbling to himself, ?Just wanted to get away for a few minutes, find some friendly faces, figure out a plan, win this stupid ?game? maybe hit something. Now I REALLY want to hit something?? The more the human talked to himself the more he just seemed to get more pissed off. As he made his trajectory through the sky he started to make out the two shapes that tussled in the sky, it was none other the Katel and and?what was his name? Bebi! That was it Bebi.

Out of the corner of his eye Yamu saw another shape climbing into the sky with the unmistakable aura of ki being used as his means of propulsion. It was the black browed fighter from his group! Had they all followed them? Yamu was able to meet up and coast next to him for a brief few moments before they reached their common goal.

?You have any idea what is going on here?? He inquired of his former comrade.

?No.? He said simply with an overtone of disgust never taking his eyes off of his goal. Which only served to deepen the human?s ever growing bad mood at this inconvenient turn of events.

?Yamu.? The human replied figuring they could at least have proper introductions even if they were short and gruff.

?Bardock.? Again simple, as if talking to the Earthling was a chore.

Soon the two shapes encircled the two that were already suspended by the power of just one. BJ watched eagerly from the ground, excited to see his temporary tutor in action. He could not shake the notion that he could recognize the creatures, even the one that had flown up with Yamu. His attention was so focused on the skyward show he did not sense the focus on him until a very flat voice from behind asked:

?Was that Yamu I saw flying up there??

The man who had just been unknowingly asked about affixed his seldom used black lensed scouter to his face as he and Bardock instinctively took flanking positions on either side of their target. While they already shared an unspoken animosity they were also both highly trained warriors and knew what to do in this particular situation.

Bebi looked from one to the other, having to crane his neck all the way to the left then to the right. The change of event did alter the situation a bit but did not cause him to falter in his resolve a solitary bit.

?Bebi, Bebi, Bebi, this is not a good day for me?how about we stop all this and talk about?whatever the hell as you dangling this woman over certain death.? Yamu kept his eyes locked on his target but he could see Katel looking to Bardock and silently mouthing the word ?Help? over and over again. What was going on there? The complete lack of attention only seemed to further his foul mood. Was not he trying to help to? Bardock seemed to be making soothing gestures while not prying his attention from the man that held her life in her hands.

?This is not your concern, Human.? He said his last word like it was a swear. He was REALLY getting tired of people dumping on his race.

?Oh but it is! Because despite her lack of co-operation she can be very useful and killing her will definitely not help anyone?s situation. So lets all just calm the hell down?? The last part was aimed at Bardock who only seemed to becoming more and more aggressive as the ?pathetic human? took charge of the situation.

?BEBI! Let go of her right now or I blow you right to hell!? He growled, sounding more animalistic then a whole Ark. His words seemed to burn from somewhere deep inside. Yamu did not know if it was his plans for winning flashing before his eyes or if he had somehow developed feeling for the Beauty known as Katel. Neither mattered. Right now he was only escalating the situation.

?Not helping BARDOCK!? The human roared. He calmed his tone more trying to pacify the grey skinned menace. ?Look Bebi?what do you hope to accomplish by killing Katel, she can not help you then.?

The probable possessor through his head back with a laugh that came from somewhere deep and it was not mirth, ?Oh?I?m not going to kill her,? his face crept right next to Katel?s ear, ?We are just going to become a little more, intimate, are we not Katel?? His attention snapped back to Yamu. ?I want out of this game, she is my ticket.?

Yamu?s eyes hardened, ?You want out? Well, THAT, my friend, is something I can help you with because you just happened to have found me on the right day.? He smiled as the other three heads shot towards him all with varying degrees of question on their face.

BJ backed away slowly from the mysterious humanoid shape that exited the shadows from on of the oddly squared of in size trees. ?I can defend myself?and if I yell Yamu will come down here. He?s strong??

The raven haired shaped gave a soft laugh, ?So that is Yamu? I know he is strong, we fought each other on Namek what seems like ages ago. Though, I have gone up in the universe a little since then. Do not worry, Yamu earned my respect I will not hurt you, right now I am interested to see what is going on up there.?

Burter Jr. kept his distance from the new arrival, keeping one of his flashing red eyes on the being that claimed such power that the scale covered youth could sense none of.

?How do you plan to do that, Earthling?? Bebi asked his speech almost slurring in contempt.

The very pissed and very strong Earth-Jin flung his fists out and down to his waist and his bared upper body grew more defined and rigid as he powered up. ?Let?s just say Bardock?s solution just started looking a whole lot better to me.?

Bebi smiled, ?Ok, human.? The sun glass-eyed alien life form let his prey drop without a care, knowing one or the other of his ?comrades? would catch her. She let out a blood curdling scream as her supports left and she plummeted to the ground below.

Burter Jr.?s new company smiled, ?Now things get interesting??

Bardock hesitated for a brief moment wanting to get back at Bebi for almost ruining his plans for his nemesis Kao. ?BARDOCK!? Yamu barked. With a sullen frown at the necessity for having to be the one to drop down and rescue the girl the Saiya-Jin warrior shot downward, thinking of ways to hard the human for talking in such a commanding tone to him.

?You are nothing, human.? Bebi taunted as he cranked up his ki from its usual suppressed level.

Yamu?s tinted scouter clicked up Bebi?s power giving the bald interstellar warmonger a smug grin. ?Watch and FEEL!? Using his artificial enhancers the Pitch Black soldier?s ki level shot through the roof it?s physical representation in the midnight black aura the rippled of his body. It occurred to the vein riddled career fighter that he had been fighting opponents stronger then him for so long and surviving, sometimes winning, on wits alone that actually being in the position of power might be a disadvantage. He steeled himself not to get cocky?that how he had come out ahead every time when the he had been David. He would not give this challenger the chances he had been given.

?I guess this is my show, I should start?? Yamu was a shadowy blur in his cloak of ki black as coal as he flew fist first at his current foe.

(OOC: I am really sorry, being fresh out of BMT I have had friends and family coming to see me all this weekend and no time to type. I have a lot more then this in my head but have yet another place to go. I will hopefully have time tonight to get some more done of what I have planned. Again, sorry?)

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Hellfighter 17 - 10-23-2005

The humanoid simply stood next to his petite companion, taking minor notice to the youth. ?Heh,? he started, chuckling whilst watching the turn of events. ?You look familiar, kid.? BJ turned his neck sharply, a smile growing across his visage as he began thinking of his predecessor in the gene pool.

?That's ?cause I look just like my dad, Burter!? the kid exclaimed, his neck stretching upwards as his pride for his parent exuded forth. The android could not help but smile, the first real smile he had let loose since his time out of the Room of Spirit and Time. The child apparently possessed that innocence that was lost on most these days. ?Do you know him?? he piped up, anxious to know if another was aware of his skilled father.

?I do a bit,? Seventeen replied, pleasantly pleased to be having this conversation with the youth. The new-found happiness would have to be interrupted for a moment as a scream began to echo throughout the forest, shaking the only two left in the greenery. The pair of them looked up to the woman falling, herself nearly a green blur as her lack of ability to fly was now very much apparent. ?Ugh.?

***

This sudden change had thrown Bardock and Yamu off guard, both unsure of which of them should fly after the women. The human snapped at the saiya-jin he started to chase after her, and soon enough the earth-jin was distracted by the tsufuru-jin Bebi. As Bardock?s trail of death and beauty dissipated slowly behind him, the woman was falling into oblivion, practically sure that she was to die. Before the male?s eyes, though, his target soon enough vanish with a bright, brown blur.

The android hovered down slowly, grasping onto the woman tightly, her front against his side. As his body descended down and eventually touched ground, he set her down gently. His top speed had been reached as to catch the woman before her body would be struck by trees. The saiyan Bardock was thrown into surprise at the turn in events when he could not find the woman.

?BJ,? Seventeen said, setting the woman into a comfortable position as she had loss consciousness due to shock and daze. The android decided to fly back up to the saiyan who had been chasing after the woman. Apparently Bardock thought that he would have been able to get to her in time, but his hesitation would have caused her?at least?some minor injuries and the hell fighter would prefer for all to be kept in peak condition if they were to make it out okay.

?I knew you wouldn?t have been able to get to her in time, so I caught her,? the android declared, catching the dazed saiya-jin?s attention. ?She?s down there; the child?s watching her.?

Bardock straightened his back and let out a grunt as though he did not care. Seventeen ignored the gesture and looked upwards towards the Yamu and the tsufuru-jin. ?Looks as though they?ll be fighting,? declared the robot, changing the tune of the conversation before any introductions were made.

The pure-bred fighter was slightly perplexed; most people he encountered introduced themselves as a social exchange, but for some reason the robot did not. Bardock was not going to do so himself, but this nonetheless crossed his mind.

***

Yamu threw a punch at Bebi?s jaw that made a connection, causing the mastermind to fly back a few feet, but he quickly regained his composure and took no notice to the blood that dripped down his face. It was no distraction to him, blood was a necessity to battle, or else there was no point if blood was not to be drawn.

The tsufuru-jin came launching at the human, with mouth wide open and fangs showing, he let out a screeching howl whilst his head came butting in and caught Yamu?s chest. Bebi then pushed his body forth into the earth-jin, but the stronger challenger grabbed ahold of the head, and with all of his might pushed the opposer off of him and let the mind-controller run off behind Yamu, with the earthling now having an advantage.

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Bardock - 10-24-2005

Bardock simply stared at the android. Memories flashed before his eyes. He looked so much like him?exactly like Android 17. How he loathed Android 17. But, it couldn?t be him. His mannerisms were so different, his presence completely alien. Bardock couldn?t quite comprehend the situation. Should he kill him, in case this was all a cleverly concocted fa?ade? Or should he take the cyborg at face value, assuming he was some sort of identical copy, or even that his programming had been changed? The saiyan was unsure, and as a rule of thumb, couldn?t take any physical action until the identity of this humanoid creature could be ascertained. Instead, he glanced skyward.

The black-haired fighter was sorely tempted to intervene the human?s fight and simply slay Bebi himself for the gray being?s profound audacity. Bardock could tell by observing, as well as probing with his Ki Sense, that he was a much superior fighter: faster, stronger, able to last longer. Yamu at base value was weaker than Bar, but when he invoked his full potential, easily outclassed the saiyan warrior. The only thing Bebi seemed to trump him in was both determination (for his insane drive to kill Brim) and intelligence (for being manipulative and opportunistic), which were critical factors of battle, especially when attributed to someone who would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. It was completely beyond the ebony-locked warrior to see him for anything else.

The human seemed capable, and although it displeased him to be in the company of one, it seemed beneficial for now. His disdain for the human race would have to be momentarily put aside, which the bronze bruiser was capable of doing?if only temporarily.

?Yamu!? he called up to the human with a subtle level of politeness, who was too engrossed to give a response. ?You?d better kill that son of a bitch, or I will!?

Glittering charcoal eyes quickly glanced downward as Bardock switched focus to the unconscious body of Katel. He cursed himself for not being able to catch her in time. He had allowed another to do what was his responsibility. Before the power up, Bardock was the faster of the two, and should have been able to catch her, yet he had reacted foolishly. Had she been injured, his link to Kao would have been severed, and another hardship would have been placed upon his shoulders of looking for the son of Brim the hard way. But was it just that? Any infatuation was most certainly ill timed if present. It presented a weakness, and even if such a feeling didn?t exist within the saiyan, it could be interpreted by any protectiveness, as Bebi had clearly deduced. Shouts of rage didn?t placate the situation, and the little gray beast had been in full control until he relinquished her figure. Whether there was an attraction or not, it didn?t matter, because it would likely be one-sided. Others sought to use her, but Bardock refused to give her up unless they weren?t against him. He considered that Yamu and his charge, along with the Seventeen look alike, would join his company. That was allowable?Bebi was not. Bardock couldn?t stand him.

Bardock didn?t neglect the presence of Burter Junior. Reluctantly withdrawing from view of the fight, and leaving the android to be alone, the saiyan dropped down where they were located. Burter Junior seemed to tense up, as if raising his guard.

?Don?t worry, kid,? Bardock said in a voice that was oddly both soft and rough at the same time. ?I?m not gonna hurt you. In fact, I?ll look out for you while your buddy up there is takin? care of that?? He paused, holding back the string of swears about to bubble from his lips. ??other guy.?

The reptilian child seemed to nod, but was still a little wary of this stranger. He?d seen the older man before, in the group, but it was a natural caution. The blue boy had previously thought the saiyan didn?t much like him.

?It?s Bardock. I know you. BJ, right? You?re a tough little guy, aren?t you??

Junior nodded, suddenly very pleased at the compliment. Bardock flashed a roguish grin at the fearsome youngster and turned, somewhat concerned, to Katel. He inspected her figure, making sure that she wasn?t injured. Her throat was rubbed red from Bebi?s grip, something that made the saiyan grind his teeth in anger. On his world, the females weren?t helpless, they could hold their own as well as, if not better, than the males. However, he had come to learn that not all females were like that, so he respected them if they had any difficulty defending themselves. Katel was clearly a capable fighter, but to take her off guard under his watch was unforgivable. Other than that, she was simply overwhelmed by the tsufuru-jin?s sudden ultimatum. Bardock had heard the words of torture that he had spoken to her, and none too pleasant. The saiyan understood all methods of cooperation extraction, but he felt that shoving oneself down another?s throat was far more unclean than simply outright killing them. Bar had pierced stomachs with his arm, severed heads, broken limbs, and far more unspeakable torment, but it was always ended quickly, never prolonged as the other suggested. Fighting and beating down an opponent was what broke them down, not the process of killing.

The saiyan observed that there was not a single flaw on her body.

As soon as the thought crossed his mind, he knew. The others had felt it, but he should have been the one among them to suppress it. Damn. This would complicate things.

Bardock banished the reflection to the back of his mind, returning his attention to the fight. He absent-mindedly placed his body protectively between his charges. Nothing would get by him again alive.

OOC: Looks like two is all I get this time. Feck. ><

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Yamu - 10-24-2005

The man they call Yamu was blinded by rage. It all bubbled to the surface, a pot boiling over, all the times he had failed, all the times he had not been good enough, all the times he had felt like shit. The walls he had constructed brick by brick over the years were beginning to crack. The stress was getting to him, and being forced to see another child going through the path of a warrior was slowly killing the inside of Yamu. He had built his walls inside to protect him put he was trying to hide to much away there now, and they could not contain it all anymore. Soon, they would break completely?they had just come close.

This was stress marks in the walls letting some of his rage seep out, unluckily for Bebi he was on the receiving end, of his rage and a fist. Then for Yamu everything stopped. Then went black. Then got damn bright?

?Oh?fucking hell?my head?? Yamu pushed himself off the ground where he suddenly found himself his head pounding with the hammers of dozens of miniature dwarves beating against his skull. He tried to stand but the pain was too great and he merely stumbled backward clutching his shiny noggin. ?What the hell just happened to m?? suddenly his forced digestion of Bebi and the subsequent regurgitation came flooding back to Yamu, causing his face to twist into a mask of disgusted horror. ?Oh HELL!? It hurt to much to keep his eyes open, but he saw that Bebi was leaning against a tree smirking, Bardock was standing protectively over Katel casting all sorts of glares in the sunglass-eyed aliens direction, he also made sure BJ was there, but who was that other shape? Then his pounding head dropped him to the ground again.

The haphazard team around him watched with intense humor as Yamu began wiping his tongue with dirt, ?You taste like raw-fucking-sewage?I can?t get the taste out of my mouth?my goddamn head?? He forced himself to lean on a tree and closed his eyes tight to keep the intense sunlight out. ?Jeez?I?m slipping?? he whispered to himself as he saw his behavior from a third person point of view. He had let his emotions leak out?they were getting so hard to keep in check lately?

A familiar voice soothingly entered his mind, ?So Yamu?it has been a while. When did you start babysitting??

?Hellfighter?Seventeen?? The human asked, opening his eyes to just slits to see the Android he knocked out in the first round of the Namek tournament.

?In the flesh?well sort of.? He joked as he grabbed Yamu by the wrist and helped him to his feet. ?I met you lit?um?friend over there.?

?Yeah?? Yamu?s hand still grased his own head and he leaned heavily on his artificial ally, ?I was trying to get him back to some more friendly faces and these three and to show back up??

?Ha ha?these are certainly not friendly by any stretch.?

Yamu stood up on his own power and looked hard at the Hellfighter taking measure of him again. ?Its good to see you.? He said simply.

?Didn?t think Namek was it did you? I have to pay you back for that.?

With his walls firmly back in place Yamu allowed himself a smile, ?Kicked you ass once, 17, I can do it again.?

A very knowing smile curved the ends of the android?s mouth, ?You might find it a little harder this time.?

Yamu looked around, his headache was slowly fading and it allowed him enough mental function to asses the situation, which was not good. Bebi was boring holes through the passed out Katel as Bardock did the same to him, topped off with a kid he had to protect.

?Ok?I think we all need to cool down a little?? Yamu began

?Yes, Yamu?Gabi would approve of that?if she were still with us?? Bebi said with a twisted smile, never taking his eyes of Katel.

The human?s neck twisted to Bebi. That name brought so much pain to him, and the grey green alien would not even give him the respect to look at him. What had Bebi done while inside of me? The vein riddled warrior asked himself, wondering what else the invader had gleaned as he was inside of him.

?Y?Yes?? He began again shakily. ?She would?more importantly we need a plan. I think it is safe to say we all want something right now and the quickest way for all of us to get what we want is to end the Game.?

?End it?? The raven-haired youth asked. ?How to suppose we ?end? Friend or Foe??

?Take out the actors?? with Yamu?s words all the other conscious gathered began talking at once.

?WHAT? There is only one man I want killed, how does randomly defeating the other bring me to Kao??
?Kill them? Seems?wrong?to just kill the others?they were brought here like us??
?I want this ENTIRE thing destroyed, not to just get out??
?Yamu, I thought we were having an adventure??

The human held up his hands, he had heard all of them and his solution still seemed to fit. He began almost as if lecturing in a classroom, ?Bardock, what better way to get Brim and his son to come out of the shadows then to be ruining their game? Hellfighter, they do not ?die? we have both heard the stories you just kinda pop back to where ever you came from, we would be doing them a favor. Bebi?how do you plan to bring this game down? What easier way is there then to make it the least profitable thing on whatever station this is? We don?t let them play their game then there is no show. And Little Blue, trust me there will be no greater adventure then this. We wipe this asteroid clean, make Friend or Foe the biggest embarrassment ever, to where Brim or someone like him can never screw with people?s lives like this, EVER again. Well??

The other four grew silent as they pondered the un-orthodox solution put in front of them?.

(OOC: Plot thickens? I hope that cleared up some of Yamu?s actions from the last post.)

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Bardock - 10-24-2005

OOC: Crap. A couple of things I have to smooth out first, because they seem confused to me. I neglected to mention anything of what Bebi did in his post before mine, nor did Bebi take into account that Hellfighter and I roleplayed Katel as being unconscious. So my second post will have been represented as what happened in the moments just before Bebi shoved himself down Yamu's throat. I apologize that this will be somewhat of a regurgitation.

IC:

Bardock's gaze had just returned to the fight between Bebi and Yamu when Katel began to utter stirrings of consciousness. She groaned before groggily sitting up. His dark eyes flickered back and forth, keeping a keen watch on both events. Before long, although she still wasn't at full mental capacity, the emerald beauty was able to stand and take into account the events that were transpiring at this very moment.

"Time Slip!" rang Bebi's voice as it reverberated through the trees.

Katel and the saiyan stared in horror as time suddenly began to slow down, and they could only stare at what was unfolding before them. Bebi performed some unfamiliartechnique, and within a single instant, the little gray creature vaulted himself at the human, time speeding up to its normal pace once more. Bardock had but a moment to gaze upon Yamu's stupefied face, a terrified expression frozen on his visage. Bebi's figure began to melt and contort as he approached his victim. The tsufuru-jin parted his foe's lips and began inserting himself into his mouth. It was a sickening sight to watch Bebi slide down Yamu's throat, the flesh expanding to accomodate the invader. A wave of nausea passed through the saiyan as he stood by, completely transfixed by the engrossing happening. The human was completely helpless as his mouth was forced open, and his eyes stared out into the distance as the gray matter shoved itself into his body. Once Bebi had completely entered, the earthling's body shuddered and convulsed, as if fighting off an internal takeover, which it very well seemed to be. Then, abruptly, his body relaxed and his contorted face smoothed over as Yamu gently descended to the ground. The android followed suit, reaching the ground before the other to join Bardock and Katel.

Burter Junior awoke Bardock from this trance when he ventured forth, abandoning his position behind the saiyan.

"Yamu?" the child questioned, completely confused of the situation. He didn't know what had just happened to his friend, nor was he keen on Bebi's whereabouts.

Yamu simply stared at him. "Not quite," he answered in a voice that did not belong to the veined warrior. The young reptile retreated behind the android, frightened by the answer and the knowing that he was no longer himself. Bardock edged even closer to Katel, this time placing an arm before her, slightly upset by the fact that Junior had not resumed his place behind the saiyan.

The bionic fighter seemed itching for attack, but Bebi-Yamu simply shook his stolen head. "There will be no more fighting," he said. Then he stabbed a finger at Katel. "You! Keep this small save of grace for the time being, woman, but never forget. This little spat of ours isn't over. Not by a long shot!"

Bardock supressed a gag as Yamu's body began to convulse once more, a lump from his throat forming again as it wormed its way upwards. Bebi was exiting the flesh. The gray matter began dribbling from the lips until an entire mass needed the entire maw to leave. A slippery material flew out into the air, reforming into the familiar figure of Bebi. The human's body slumped to the ground, overwhelmed and unconscious. Bebi sneered at his state. "He'll be fine. Though he will wake up with quite a headache."

The saiyan was repulsed by the little creature, but he kept his distaste carefully beneath the surface, now on guard for any more tricks the bastard could pull. Fighting wasn't necessarily constrained to being fist to fist. Bebi simply walked right past them and leaned against a tree, as if this whole thing was as nothing to him. Bardock glared at him, baring nothing but pure disgust for his actions.

It wasn't long before things resumed. Yamu arose from his unnatural slumber, and conversation resumed. The android that Bardock had presumed to be Android Seventeen, was actually Hellfighter Seventeen, but the difference was still yet to be distinguished. Bebi further agitated his subterfuge by presenting intimate details that were locked away inside Yamu's brain. Clearly, it was a whole coup of both mind and body.

But soon, the conversation turned unpleasant for the saiyan

The human had suggested dropping arms in order to destroy Brim's game.

"...We wipe this asteroid clean, make Friend or Foe, the biggest embarassment ever, to where Brim or someone like him can never screw with people's lives like this, EVER again. Well?" he concluded.

The idea was preposterous. The bronze bruiser quickly dropped any resolve to maintain an amicable connection to the human.

Bardock jumped in, silencing the others and presenting his sole point of view.

"What the fuck makes you think I care about this game, or the pain he inflicts on others? I'm not some damned hero. I have no interest in saving anyone else from this stupid game," he asserted, which was not entirely true--not anymore. He then switched to a different angle, proceeding to ramble off any legitimate point he could come up with. "You haven't thought this through very well. You forget, there are other people in this world. Do you plan to find every single one of them and have them follow your half-baked plan? Right now, whether they want to or not, whether they realize it or not, they're all doing what he's manipulated them to do. All Brim needs is one person to keep his scheme going. Even I know that! There will be people who want to play! What makes you think us stopping will change anything? If it was as easy as you say, why didn't it end with the last Friend or Foe? I'm guessing the people who played before must have tried something similar, and he just came back again a sore, stupid bastard. Did you see his body? The previous people probably though they'd killed him. None of them looked anything but surprised to see him again. And have you forgotten that he has ways of making people play? He controls everything. If we don't, we die. I don't want to die for you and your self-righteous ideals."

"By killing Kao, you're only playing into it!" Yamu argued.

"I understand that. It's what's keeping me in the game. Don't you think people would be interested in seeing a saiyan exact his revenge? Don't for a second think I care whether or not I'm fueling this thing. I'll kill him, even if I have to take out anyone who gets in my way!"

If Kao was toppled, it was only a matter of time before Brim came falling as well. By doing this, he ensured that he would draw out the both of them. Whoever wanted Brim could get him. The saiyan was reminded of Reijin's theory. Should he share it among them, or keep it to himself?

"If you want to stop the show," Katel interrupted quietly. "Then you just need to take the control from him. Doing so will flush out both Brim and Kao."

It was meant as an alternative to the arguing, which was getting them nowhere. Bardock could sense a subtle urgency in her voice, as if she was anxious to keep moving. He resisted the impulse to just grab her, Junior, and take off.

"If you have answers, then you will give them to me!" Bebi demanded from his post.

Burter Junior was completely lost. He just wanted an adventure, as any young boy would. This seemed to be a conversation for the grown-ups, but he waited for a chance to speak his mind.

Suddenly, a deep rumble from within the forest resounded. Katel sighed knowingly. She seemed like this was something she had been trying to avoid. Someone--or something--had awakened. Whatever it was, it was big, unfriendly, and heading straight for them.

"See?" Bardock growled pointedly. "This is probably just something Brim brought around to keep us playing. You can't stop, he'll keep throwing curves. But you're welcome to test your resolve and get yourself offed."

OOC: What is it? I wonder, wonder, wonder... O_o

Three for me.

[2] Group Katel - Forest - Burter - 10-25-2005

END OF ROUND

"That's not just any curveball," Katel interupted the arguing saiyan warrior. Her voice hushed to a whisper, moving forward. "That's my sister."

"Now that I think about it," Yamu butted in, "You haven't done that much explaining."

She let out a sigh, hearing another rumble. "My sister is ill. She is dying. Because of her weakness, Brim has exploited her and is now using her as a pet." She turned, looking at them all. "You may think you're a bunch of a rebels by not playing his game, but as Yamu said, going after them is exactly what they want. Every single thing you do up until the moment you die is going to be a part of this game. You may not like it, but you're going to have to a deal with it."

She turned around to look at where the rumbling noises were echoing from. "If you want to stand here and having a pissing match, by all means, do so."

"Hey," Yamu butted in again. "Watch your language."

She chuckled, looking down at the small innocent reptilian. "I'm sorry." She then turned again for a final time. "You want to try your luck against Kao and Brim? You are more then welcome to. I've got a sister to save."

"You're taking us there," Bebi spoke for the first time in awhile.

She nodded. "Better to not disturb her right now anyway. Come, I know where they are. But it won't be easy."
