Wtf? Digimon?

Yea, stfu. We arn't gonna tolerate any bashing towards the show or the fact we like Digimon. If you don't like it, fine, but take it somewhere else.

Once you've joined a DBZ RPG, you've lost the right to make fun of people's television preferences.

Mini-RPG?

This is a freeform mini-RPG, inside CDBZ. This means as long as you're active in CDBZ, you can goof off in here and enjoy yourself. The rps here are not expected to be long. This is just for fun, not for a competition.

Summary of How It Works

The rules in the actual RPG are pretty laid back. This is like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" RPG. You can roleplay as you want, wherever you want, making up things as you go. As you go, we'll update you whenever you want or need it.

Basically you will have a digimon, and as you roleplay and travel, growing both your character and your digital monster, you will earn new things. Digivolution, making your digimon temporarily grow to a new creature, or an item that will help you with digivolutions.

Travelling in Digital Overload (DO for short) is easy. Just keep roleplaying. The digital world is so expansive you could make up where you want to go. That's all it is, random things. There are deserts, towns, amusement parts, diners, glaciers, mountains, fields, you name it and it's there. All you gotta do it roleplay travelling and eventually getting there. Don't automatically go from one place to the other, try to leave some time in there.

Digivolving

This is the term we use for when a digimon transforms to the next stage. There are many stages.

Baby
In-Training
Rookie
Champion
Ultimate
Mega

You will pick your digimon based off the rookie form. This is the form they will be in most often. They'll start as in-training and you'll have to earn the digivolution to rookie, but this one is easy. Just be active for us and we'll notice.

All digimon owners carry digivices. Digivolving usually occurs when the digimon's owner is in trouble. The digivice allows them to do this. The digivice also records the digimon it meets.

Don't expect to always get the digivolution you get. Based off the digimon encyclopedia we use (posted later), we'll decide which digivolved form of your digimon would be best for you. The best part is not knowing what you could get. If you have a whole evolution line planned out, you're not getting the point =P

Earning Things

Like in CDBZ, you write to earn power-ups. Same here, you write to earn digivolutions and items. However, unlike CDBZ, things are a lot easier.

The higher the reward, the more effort you gotta put in. In-training to rookie is easy. Ultimate to Mega is TOUGH.

Activity: DO vs CDBZ

Since this is Chubbs DBZ RPG, people who have failed to meet the activity requirements will not be allowed to post here. This is something we want people to have fun with and enjoy, but you shouldn't keep people waiting on an RP for you because you just got the Mega Digivolution you wanted.
