Battle judging is usually left exclusively to staff. Fantastic idea, but leaves too much to chance. Winning a fight is based solely on ki and writing effort. =(

Actually, if you ever played the DBZ card game (at least the old one), you would know that what you are describing is almost exactly what the DBZCCG is (was). In fact, your proposal has more in common with the DBZCCG than Yu-Gi-Oh!.

In the DBZ card game, you have a main personality that has ki and you use physical attacks from cards as well as energy attacks from cards. The main difference is that most energy attacks, or what are basically the special attacks in your proposal, cost ki.

If you mean this as a side game, I don't care.

If you mean incorperate this into the RPG, no. I'd quit, it'd make things more complicated than they need to be and the thought is sickening o.O.

Well can already see this is a seriously unloved idea.

That's because those in the spar are supposed to agree to a winner. Not staff. =\

I'm fine with it as an optional addition (for spars but not fights). I probably wouldn't use it myself, but I don't mind others using it since its their right to decide the outcome for a spar anyway.

*cough* Well when a spar is ended and we give out points I don't see a problem with us as mods writing a short little ending when there is a clear winner with effort and ability. I think I've done it once or twice as well as hand out points.

But Herc your idea though a nice thought just won't work. If you want a winner or loser then it would not be too much trouble for us to write and ending if everyone else agrees to it.
